Any insight on new features for 24? Liked the spreadsheet last year before I tapped out on the game. Looking to use it again this year.

I’ve been so busy on the roster project that I haven’t had too much time to put into the sheet.

I did add xBA and xSLG and all that jazz but it took a TON of user input for it to track and it’s just too much lol.

It shouldn’t need any specific tips for 30 team control unless you play with each team. Then I’d recommend a sheet per team.

Definitely not much you could possibly add to the sheet anyway so time is more well spent on the roster. I'll definitely use the spreadsheet again this year I do 30 team but only play as one team. The other 29 is more to prevent unrealistic trades and offseason contracts. The work you did helps so its just plug in and generate whole lot less thinking for me lol

JWDixon's All Inclusive Franchise Spreadsheet

Just wanted to drop an update here.

I’m going to clean up a few things and post an updated link for the spreadsheet this week.

I’ve just added a new feature to the “contract demand calculator” that now tells you if a player is willing to enter negotiations.

This was done by taking OOTP’s Loyalty and Greed ratings for every player in their database.

I’ve also used those numbers to adjust players asking price.

This should work for all players on the existing roster. Obviously your draft picks and fictional guys will not work for the “will they re-sign” portion.

I’ll likely add a way to generate a personality for those guys however.

The OP has been updated with the latest link for the Spreadsheet for this year!

You'll notice the changes made to the Contract Demand calculator. This adds a little life to your roster building since not every player will be willing to re-up with your team.

It’s made for google sheets only. Not excel.

Open up the sheets link, and click file in the top left and make a copy. Then you can edit as you please!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for taking the time to create this and make the video. It's great to see others who take the time to get immersed in their Franchise. This adds a much needed layer for everyone to enjoy.

Just curious, and sorry if this has been asked already, how many seasons do you typically play (I think you mentioned in your video you play all your games)? Do you play any minor league games? What difficulty are you using? I have mine set at All-Star for both pitching and hitting, but thinking of increasing the pitching level.

I play using S&B’s sliders here on OS from over on that thread.

I’ll occasionally play a MiLB game. Maybe 1-2 a year.

I do play all of my games. All 162 with quick counts.

I love the contract demand page. That will be cool to use. I noticed it is for contract extensions. Would it work as well if I use that during free agent period? If they say no, they are not interested in my team?

Id have to work on some logic to make it work for FA.

Right now it just uses greed/loyalty ratings to determine if a guy wants to resign.

I could add some logic for things like prefers to stay close to home state, playing for winners, etc.
