Fielding has gotten so much better over the years but still not challenging enough if you ask me. With button accuracy I can make every play with my eyes closed because the sweet spot is so wide in the meter. Never understood why you can’t change the difficulty for fielding alone like you could a few years back..
I've been saying this for like 5 years. Make the sweet spot of the meter smaller. Add a challenge to fielding. And minimize the total randomness of hitting. Hitting should be physics based but there are so many times where I'm not even on a pitch and hit a home run or I'm right on a pitch and hit a can of corn. It has to be more physics based.

Yes, additional skill for fielding would be cool. Make only real high diamond fielding players making routine plays. Gold and especially below gold players more more challenge

Exactly what I wish for for these premieres. Give me the nitty gritty technical details.

The live streams also featured an incredible amount of awkward fumbling when they’d swap new people in and out, set them up with mics, and generally get settled in.

I prefer the pre-recorded for that reason. It’s just an easier watch. They can still get in-depth if they want, they just now have the ability to cut the filler and give the whole thing a more professional feel.

There will be a stream full gameplay breakdown as usual Chris Gill, probably Ramone or Luis.

I hope they at least fix the lack of errors or the scorer decision on some of them. Too many infielder bobbles were scored a hit. I know it is a relatively small issue.

And it felt like the ball getting smothered or ricocheting off the infielder diving for the ball seemed to be over exaggerated in 22.

I'm hoping to see new animations for diving plays both in the infield and outfield. Also hope they expand on players making catches that result in them hitting the wall, or bracing themselves for impact to the wall. More animations for plays near the dugouts or interacting with the fans.

Hoping to see new animations play out for plays at the plate, especially collisions. I know "running over the catcher" has been outlawed but there are still collisions/contact plays at the plate.

Also want to see fielders have to avoid each other due to the inclusion of collisions between players.

Also would love the addition of a slider that changes the speed of the PCI for zone hitting. I'd like to be able to slow it down a bit as I think its too easy to get the bat on the ball even if you have the anchor sitting inside (batter looking inside) and pitch is away.

Would also like to see the penalty for PAR (missing the accuracy mark in meter pitching) be expanded slightly more.

I hope we see continued improvements to CPU Bullpen Management. The logic needs more improvement as to when to pull the starter. If we had the ability switch fielding to manual no assist that would be awesome. I’d like more control on the initial movement off the crack of the bat. It would be more challenging but more rewarding. I think having the ability to send a catcher only out to the mound would be nice before using up a coach visit. Also not having the mound visit be more interactive currently is a missed opportunity. It would be nice to have it mean something. Also with warming up pitcher in the pen that system could be improved upon to make it more authentic when enabled.

The end of the storylines video had Jackie Robinson hitting and the frame rate looked ridiculously smooth.
