That would be awesome if they had another color guy and they rotated. But it seemed like they did a lot of work with these guys to just have them together for one year.

A sideline reporter would be awesome if done right that had more than 5 storylines.

yeah, and for the record I don't have any other expectation for 23's commentary other than it to be just Boog & Singleton.

Unless they announce carry over saves are back I won't bother to watch. The show 22 is good enough for me to keep that franchise going.

They’ve already stated that carryover saves will not be in ‘23

and while I could tolerate DeRo for the most part, for the last year I kept half expecting Singleton to let a ''ambusch tactics'' fly.

I highly doubt its the case, but it would be awesome if one of the blacked out lines was a WBC mode. I certainly wouldn't expect it as it's been discussed a couple other places that SDS probably doesn't have the rights to it, but still fun to dream about

I'm kind of inclined to believe the first blank is some kind of revamp of Ballplayer, since it's on the RTTS stream and it's not mentioned anywhere. If that is the case then hopefully it means that they got rid of that awful card based loadout system. Worst change of the last 10 years imo. Barely played any RTTS the past couple years because of it.

I'd be stoked if they just went back to what we had before. I really liked the skill tree of perks that you used to work through based on conversation choices and relationships. I thought that was a really cool way to play it.

The fact that Franchise MTO Presentation and Commentary are ALL on one stream is disappointing.

Presentation and Commentary ARE part of franchise mode, so it makes perfect sense. A person spends 95% of their time in franchise mode playing games, so it is critical. Look how big of an impact the ticker had for franchise mode players last year.

Right. Presentation and commentary would ideally be best at talking about and telling the stories of your virtual league, so it makes total sense to be in a stream with Franchise and MTO.

I was hoping there would be some improvements with Stadium Creator, especially since created stadiums could not be carried over from MLB 22. I noticed it is not mentioned at all.

Also something I’m interesting in. I believe last year it was mentioned in one stream. My guess is that it fits in the DD or franchise stream as that’s where the tool seems most popular. I’m not panicking yet as I expect only minor improvements year to year. It’s too niche for marketing hype beyond year 1.

Great to see a schedule but all you need to know about what modes the dev team really cares about are in that schedule

Diamond Dynasty gets a whole day dedicated to it and Franchise has its day split with 3 other things. 2 if you want to count MTO as almost the same thing even though to me its not.

Nice to see a schedule though for sure.

But let's not pretend this has always been the case.

They used to be completely separate streams.

The last 3ish? Years they have spent maybe 20 minutes on the franchise portion before they move on.

They used to dedicate an entire full length stream to franchise.

The fact Franchise and Mto are the last modes shown says alot. For the last 5+ years franchise was the first as a let's get it over with mentality and DD was always last . It being the last shows something worthwhile is being added . The adjustment of the schedule speaks volumes for franchise Mto presentation
