This is really an awesome feature. It sounds like the face scan feature may be limited to our one RTTS ball player (my player).

It would be great if we could use this function with photos of historic or minor league ballplayers to also add them to the game.

This is really an awesome feature. It sounds like the face scan feature may be limited to our one RTTS ball player (my player).

It would be great if we could use this function with photos of historic or minor league ballplayers to also add them to the game.

Asking as I dont know, the other games with face scan import... Is it only for MyPlayer modes or w/e you want to call them?

Based on the way they spoke about it in that video, it seems it is definitely limited to the RTTS player / DD. Bummer, I was pumped this would bring some extra realism to franchise rosters. Oh well, maybe next year, right?

Was my first thought, too. EA was on to something with their Gameface feature back in the day. I used it in the old Tiger Woods games, but maybe it made its way to others, too - not sure. Shame no one adopted that idea. Creating legends via photos on your computer would be AMAZING for retro roster folks.

It is on EA's Fight Night Champion and is one of the features that kept a game from 2011 still playable. Screenshot a front and side pic of someone with an ipad and there you go. Great feature.

They say it will be your centralized ballplayer. So it will be for RTTS and DD only.

Still an interesting feature. Something like nba2k has or used to have. Don't know if they still do.
