It would be cool if it started raining in like the 5th inning or some random time. Or if it comes up overcast there could be a chance of rain during the game.
Yeah, that's a fair interpretation. I just wanted to make it clear that you could "choose to not choose", as it were, and still get rain sometimes.

I’ve had games where the rained stopped in the 5th and stopped in the 8th with no delays

I like the fact that I can pick my weather. Since I always start my franchise after the season starts, whatever team I choose I will pull up the boxscore on mlb.com and at the bottom they will have the weather conditions so I will go with whatever the skies are that day.
Technically we only get to pick the skies, not the actual wind and temperature conditions. I wish we did.

i'd love to see the ability to pick wind and temp, even if it's just "in the neighborhood of" ie and option for "cold" and "windy".

It would add a whole new dynamic to things, allow us to strategize a little better and just idk mix things up.

In Minnesota, this April had an 89 degree day (which is absolutely unheard of) a week after postponing the home opener because it was 20 something degrees and snow was in the forecast. Imagine being able to select those extremes and strategizing for them. Not holding my breath for SDS to ever implement this though.

When you do an Exhibition game you can select "Time of Year" which I think affects a lot of that. So I think most of that (temperature and amount of daylight) are baked into the calendar month. I don't know how much the temperature would affect the game besides what the manager and fans in the stands are wearing.

One of my favorite things is how depending on which month you select it directly affects how fast it gets dark. That's such a great touch of realism.

The other day I had a rain delay in the Bottom of the 9th with 2 outs, I was so mad but it was funny at the same time

                  This is a good idea.

Played a game last night. I was losing 8-0. Bottom of the 9th with 1 out and they called an hour rain delay. LOL
