Serious question, we have had 16 patches. Did any of them include "gameplay or balance changes"??

I mean I don't think we seen anything gameplay wise, that would mean we basically through 2 years of patches with this game and last years game and they haven't adjusted one thing gameplay wise? Amazing LOL

In my opinion ‘22 and ‘23 are very different games (gameplay). With the large number of complaints about gameplay you’d think something would have been tweaked with the gameplay. This was an awful year trying to find a comfort zone with the game. Not everyone can play on LEGEND to get the game to work for them.

Thanks for pointing that out, I remember seeing that now.

Has that been the only adjustment we have seen though the last two game cycles? Just so odd IMO.

Its the only one I remember for '23.

'22 had several patches that addressed gameplay, especially at the very beginning

Updates 2, 3, 4, 6, & 7 last year all addressed an area of gameplay.

I think it's about time SDS introduce something like they have for NHL game where they have Tuners.

All the tuners release for a the game during the year are available at any given time. So let say for MLBTS they release Tuner 1.03 and then later down the road they release let say 1.06 who's moderating the number of strikeouts. Anytime you can play with gameplay set in version 1.03 if you prefer.

In NHL, Tuners are adjusting gameplay variables, nothing to do with graphics, game logic itself or animations by example.

It would satisfy everybody and then SDS would be less timid to make adjustments.

I think it's a win-win.

Did they? I mean I have no issues, but crazy to me a sports game makes no adjustments, nothing tuned for the better? None of these games are perfect.

I'm going to have to go back and look at those, all I can remember is everyone furious over no changes. Not sure how I missed all of those, but wouldnt shock me if I did.. LOL

I agree. 22 was amazing game play. Or at least better than 23. They really took a step backwards in 23 on the gameplay. They screwed something up with their toning down of the foul balls that they talked about in their streams.

If they could let me pay for an upgraded 22 with the 23 rule changes and schedule, I would pay for it.

For what it’s worth….I submitted ANOTHER bug report re the removal of ROSTER CONTROL, even tho it now appears to be done by design. All the waiver moves after the trade deadline and they decide to make it extremely difficult and frustrating right now to keep the 30 team rosters current. Never should have been removed.

How do you submit? I hate seeing the shrubs on comeria right field wall. I don't play with the tiger's but when I get to that part of the schedule I hate the idea they are there and it hasn't been fixed yet...atleast the last time I checked from the last patch release it was still the same. Should've been a quick fix.

It was a surprise. There are now two PLAYER SEARCH options under the ACQUISITION screen. I thought, at first, it might be a bug but I simmed thru a season and the same thing happens the following year. The Bader, Renfroe, Gioloto, Moore, Leone, etc., etc. moves after the trade deadline used to be so easy to pull off. Now, not so much.

How do you submit? I hate seeing the shrubs on comeria right field wall. I don't play with the tiger's but when I get to that part of the schedule I hate the idea they are there and it hasn't been fixed yet...atleast the last time I checked from the last patch release it was still the same. Should've been a quick fix.

I may be in the minority but I’m happy they haven’t changed anything in gameplay. I’m really enjoying the game hitting wise and I’ve found a solid balance in sliders on Legend for pitching to make it much more difficult and lower the K numbers.

Also a few years back they would keep making constant gameplay updates and people complained. Now they are keeping the gameplay the same and people are complaining haha. Unless there were major gameplay issues that needed to be fixed, I’d rather they don’t make any changes mid year and focus on larger improvements between each annual release.
