I hope they get this feature sorted. The franchise control whether it is single team or multi team needs to work as expected or introduce some other in-season option for controlling rosters. It’s not great to have to start over when rosters get wild.

It drives me nuts that for everything new they add, they take something else out.Comment

In my opinion ‘22 and ‘23 are very different games (gameplay). With the large number of complaints about gameplay you’d think something would have been tweaked with the gameplay. This was an awful year trying to find a comfort zone with the game. Not everyone can play on LEGEND to get the game to work for them.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 23 Patch 16 - Patch Notes
Played the Astros at home in a series I really wanted to win (trying to focus on winning home games) and I gave up 8, 8 & 10 runs and was swept. Have allowed 6+ runs in 8 of my last 15, and, most recently, allowed 13 runs on 18 hits to NYY.
I’ve actually been toying with turning their hitting sliders back down bc it’s getting ridiculous (although I’d much prefer to push through it and likely will).
Maybe a lot of people are just better at pitching than me (or what’s more likely, have better pitchers than me) but “the AI offense is non-existent” is pretty annoying to read imo. Plenty of ways to beef them up without going to Legend.Last edited by Detroit Tigers; 09-06-2023, 04:40 PM.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 23 Patch 16 - Patch Notes
Honestly, 23 with 22's pitching would have been as close to the game being perfect as we'd ever get. Hitting and fielding is phenomenal in 23. However, they completely ruined pitching by trying to blow up strike outs. Not only do we get a stupid amount of Ks. But AI offense is completely nonexistent on everything but legend, which like you said, not everyone feels comfortable with.

Maybe a silly question but have you messed with sliders? I’m on AS+ with CPU contact, power and timing on 7, I’ve been getting lit tf up in recent weeks.

I also really wish they can add city connect color options as well. Padres need the options for the pink and green colors. Several players still wear those colored accessories even when not wearing the city connects.

How’s there’s not even a powder blue color in the default color options is also wild to me. The neon pink is reasonably close to the Padres city connect. Not so sure about the green.Comment
