Yes. That is, if I knew it would go into '25 as well. I'd get a PS5 as well.

For a long time I've been sniffing 2024 as the comeback year for MVP Baseball too, though. I don't know if that's going to happen, but if it is you'd thing that SDS is aware and would do anything to re-entice their own diehard fans if so.

Yes. In fact, it's likely the only that will make me buy it...along with a PS5. I'm still on 20 because I grew attached to my franchise. After all, they told me to get attached to my franchise to when they developed y2y saves.
Since '20 I haven't seen anything that is making me willing to abandoned the couple years I put in on that franchise. For me to pick up 24 they would have to bring back Y2Y saves, or having something major as a selling point.

I love baseball. But now as a married father of (soon to be) two, I have less and less time to play. Because of that and The Show feeling and looking, (to me!) largely like the same game for the past decade... I need something fresh in the baseball gaming world.
