On the Gamepass, don't they remove older versions?

I don't think you can get '22 on it, correct?

This is correct, the only downside of Gamepass in regards to this game.

As a plus to Gamepass, there's a really, really solid collection of other games to play on there as well. I don't know what Playstation has in this regards, but Gamepass is well worth the money between the Show + whatever else you end up playing from that. With you playing on Steam, I don't know how much you would use it but its really solid.

After seeing all the new rosters come out for 23 by ATG and others, I'm really looking for ideas on how to play The Show 23.


I'm looking the best way to do so.

1) Xbox S|X

2) PS 5

Is there anything I'm missing? I'd be looking to play other games as well, so any preferences on that or TS 23 gameplay with classic rosters?

Being able to play The Show at work on the Switch as a handheld is great. If you don't mind playing on last-gen.

OP- I think its always best to test out all the features and see what you really enjoy. It could take some time. Hell I been playing forever and I am still working on a system to get me to get through more then one franchise season. Enjoy it, let it become your way of playing and have fun! that what is all about FUN

All rosters are available on all platforms/consoles. Part of the cross-play deal. Like iff you have a PS5, you can still play online against someone playing on Nintendo, or download rosters created on XBox. Very cool idea.

I think they all have value,

Franchise has amazing long term play and get wrapped up in stories

Negro League stuff is great story telling to help educate us about the past and shed light on some of the amazing talent some may not know about

Diamond dynasty can be very exciting to open packs collect players

As for system I say PS5 and then one day get the PlayStation portal and play it anywhere but with next gen play

I picked up TS 23 for $9 @ Gamestop. Thinking that will probably be my source for games.

I already have Steam Deck for a lot of what I play.

Whatever you do, don't go the Switch route. The framerate cripples the gameplay. The PCI lags.
