And the vast majority who don't buy a game or any game don't feel the product is worth the price. For 100+ dollars you can't immerse me in franchise outside of gameplay to a sliver of what ootp has. In 10 years you couldn't add a few things to immerse us in. No depth no substance and have rested on there lorals of gameplay for to long

        Well I mean....yeah.

I wouldn't expect someone to buy a game they didn't feel was worth the price.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I dont think that's the point he was making. Those who love ootp, buy the game a love it. Those who love the show do the same thing. People that buy and play the show every year don't do it because they hate it.

Did they say how many Jeter moments they had where you run to field the ball and watch it roll into LF?

23 was a let down…pitching was too easy…pitching confidence was broken…quick counts broken…hitting too easy. Bullpen management has been horrendous for years. This game has a lot to improve on fundamentally. I don’t understand all the praise 23 gets when the basic functions of the game didn’t work. I am just hoping for gameplay and scea fixing what they broke in 23. I do love that they added the Kingdome though!

Totally agree that bullpen management/lineup and trade logic still needs a LOT work. But pitching and hitting wasn't too easy. Depends on your settings.

                  I understand that

And people who love it regardless and people who hate whats happening has there own right.
The point I'm making is resting on your lorals and hoping gameplay which is considered a standard minimum a company should supply shouldnt overshadow major parts of what immersion is.

Were in 2024 and peak innovation and immersion was in the early 2000s. Like come on guys.

I can only speak for myself but I stopped “loving it” a while ago (the reasons have clearly all been covered on here) but I buy it because I love baseball and want a baseball sim and outsides of OOTP it’s the only option.

                        Exactly.

It's just painful to see a good game that supplies good gameplay not get the backing that would take this game to the pennicle of gaming. So much potential and its hard to believe they won't capitalize on it.

I play on.legend with sliders tweaked and I agree it was too easy. Always wishing for a harder mode.

I've heard people say that but I've not had that problem and neither have others so, who knows.

Hitting was in a good spot for me this year challenge wise, pitching I do agree was too easy.
