I turn 30 next year and it hits me all the time.

Me and all my gaming buddies grew up on the sports message boards. We were all on a site called VSN.

I hopped over here at 14 years old and been here ever since. We are a dying breed. Love seeing the sames names over the years. Whether we all agree or not. We are passionate.

Call me crazy but I’m hyped for bigger bases and seemingly the pick off rule. If they can figure out a way to implement the pitch clock and the batter time outs I’d be psyched.

I have an idea where you could get a small boost for the next pitch after the batter takes his time out or the pitcher could get a small boost after disengaging. Not holding my breath that any of that happens any time soon but it’d be cool.

Funny thing about wanting all of this in the game is I’m pretty meh on it irl but if that’s how it’s going to be I want to see it in the game.

I'm so unhappy about the lack of improvements that I will make every player on the roster bald as a form of protest against the new moving hair! Take that SDS! Pfffffffffff!

Kidding aside, already preordered the game, looking forward to play it at launch, and doing what I've done almost every year since MLB 12, playing baseball for 12 months. Eager to see RTTS news, since that's the only mode I play steadily.

Funny part with gettin' old, is that you don't mind different opinions, you've already started arguing with youself about your own! :wink:

While it was a nothing gameplay trailer, I’m fine with the gameplay being mostly unchanged and just fine tuned for this year as 23 was the best it’s played. Only thing I’d like to see fixed is not K’ing the CPU as much, and if they are making pinpoint more difficult then that’s enough for me.

My gripe is the logic around the gameplay and AI, which we’ve heard nothing about. If they aren’t making some under the hood changes there, then it’s not really worth it for me to buy when I can wait for next year and see if those changes get done while enjoying my 23 franchise.

And in all honesty, I don’t think there will be any news or updates for RTTS or Franchise since they would’ve highlighted it. I think they are pushing storylines and treating that mode as a way to tell the history of baseball in a quick and interactive way while rolling back focus on the other two modes. As someone who is a big franchise guy, wouldn’t be a huge fan of that. But I can totally understand that approach since not as many players try the long haul of a franchise or career anymore and more gamers have shorter attention spans now and want to focus on immediate accomplishments.

If that brings back the realtime action ( no cutting after catcher throwing back to pitcher) as they used to have on Broadcast mode, I’m in.
