A glitch as in it doesn't always happen? I haven't seen it in the major league stadiums. I only see it in most of the minor league parks.

I was just wonderin if the ball collides with objects in stadium creator.

It does.

I just hit a homerun in a game at Hammond Field (AA STL STADIUM CUSTOM) and the ball bounced off the scoreboard.

One thing I’ve noticed is that the ball doesn’t treat the bullpen pitchers mound as a hill/mound but rather a flat surface. Just rolls thru the mound.

Very underwhelming. This was such a great feature when it was first introduced but they just aren't doing much to upgrade it. Domes should be in by now. Moving bullpens might be hard but it can be done because they do it on their stadiums. Distances, numbers, yellow lines and ads should all be something that can be added to walls by now.

I get not having it figured out for year 1 but in the fourth year and we still don't see these items? Hopefully this is just a bad trailer and we'll find out things are better than they appear but I would be shocked now.

Weird thing I noticed about the mounds.. the ball collides with 'em if a flyball lands on 'em, but a grounder rolls through 'em.

The Kingdome is in. Is the old Metrodome still in?

That takes away the sting of not being able to create domes. But my goodness, why is that not feature not available?

I'll give them credit where it's due. I may not love the emphasis on Storylines lately, but it does give them incentive to add more classic stadiums, and if that's what it takes to get them, I can live with it.

For some reason in '23 you couldn't put lights or lettering either next to or behind the batter's eye. Not sure why that would be as I'm sure you could do it in '22.

But yeah, even if they can't have correct bullpens for whatever reason, the lack of retractable roof options in lieu of Kaiju and Dino skeletons is very disappointing.

Or outfield wall numbers. Or more than two flags. Or more than one new ad.

But if you can add the walking patrons my lonely outfield restaurants will finally have some people around them.

One of the most requested feature dating back just 5 years ago was Custom Stadiums.

Well, SDS finally pulls it off and drops the mic on us and it’s a great starting point. Clear flaws but I think we all expected them to be ironed out as the years go on.

Total opposite. They took their win and dipped. I mean, honestly how is it year 4 of custom stadiums and the bullpens are still on the field, no outfield wall decor/distance markers?

Seems like the community has been creating the same looking stadiums for years now (which are great) but they all have the same elements and decor.

Except for damaged buildings and more dinosaurs.

I was so excited to run different themed teams with custom stadiums but with the unsightly bullpens/dugouts/foul territories and bland walls it’s hard for me to give up a real stadium with one that is clearly a fake

Well, let’s hope that there are some cool additions/props that we just didn’t see. At least we can add them to our existing created stadiums. But, yeah….these didn’t look promising.

I don’t know nothing about coding or whatever SDS does but how hard could it be to make the top 6” of the outfield fence yellow or add the ability to add signage or distance markers on the outfield fences?
I hate having to use wooden pallets with numbers on them.

I see some really good designs out there. I am hoping for someone who has more skill then i do to create a nice clover park for me to play Mets spring games in.

With the caliber of their coders, I think it'd be pretty easy for them to do that, but they have to wanna (or be instructed to) do it, so..

I think their stadium creator is really cool. I don't fully understand their decision to add certain objects before addressing other functional aspects of it though.

Didn't they add things to stadium creator during the summer last year? Maybe they'll add more during the year.

I think they will continue to add to it. People love it. I have not tried but you can use any created stadium in franchise mode right?

The random people we can add is huge. Now the empty food courts, etc will have people standing around. Creators just need to add them to already existing creations.
