Not 100% sure yet, but I think I'm in for the 1st time since 2015. The game got stale for me back then and I simply had no motivation to buy another yearly update. Now I'll give it a shot on PS5. Should be a nice jump in all areas of the game, while probably far from using the full potential when it comes to graphics.

On a side note, the tropy hunter in me is quite happy with the set, no DD needed and mostly stuff that comes more or less naturally at some point.

Im currently in September of my ‘23 franchise so I’ll be finishing that over the next few weeks while I read user feedback on ‘24. I was going to wait until ‘24 goes on sale, but with the MLB season quickly approaching, I’ll probably be buying ‘24 sooner rather than later.

Updated rosters and new face scans will pull me in every time, lol. And while I feel the show is in need of a major facelift, the one thing I can always count on is the gameplay being top notch.

I am now settled on fully in.

I have decided to move on from my '23 franchise and start fresh in '24. First pitch of 2024 Spring Training is scheduled for 12:10am Friday.

As always I’m all the way in. The Show is always one of my top 5 most played games every year. Just gonna be hell waiting until April for the first roster update to begin my franchise.

Ok my waiting went to a pre order of the MVP edition. I’m just weak haha nah I’m all about gameplay (and graphics although there were only minor improvements this year) and the outfield urgency at the outfield fence alone was enough for me.

I will be out forever more, or at least until they bring back franchise mode to how it was before 2013, ex. GM features being brought back.

In, but not in any rush. Won’t pay extra for early access, and may wait on a Easter sale. I’ve been watching the dev tournament. Pretty much the exact same game.

I don't judge the game based on the dev tournament. They use options and camera angles I would never use and there's basically no presentation used whatsoever. The on the field gameplay is already stellar and that's basically what we see during the tournament.

Exactly what I was seeing. I can't watch it for very long they way they play it annoys me LOL.

Same here man. I can't stand that strike zone camera at all. It takes away from the beauty of the game for me.

I’m only looking at the gameplay and player animations. I never said anyone else needed to make a determination based off this. Only that I am.

I'm also watching for the occasional info nuggets like what Chris Gill is doing right now (regarding the wall interactions and attacking the ball like we saw in those last few twitter clips). Also found out about the pitch clock being optional by taking a close look while they were menuing.
