I'm in the waiting pool though I may not wait as much as I usually do. I'm a 30 team control franchise player and occasionally go into RTTS. For franchise it is disappointing the neglect and lack of additions. I do like the advertised additions and tweaks to logic they have made. This year I'll probably wait until the first roster update to get the additions and a few face scans we usually get in the first update.

Curious why others are in/waiting/out

I'm a simple man. New MLBTS comes out, I buy it on release day.

Is this the most excited I've been for a new release? No, not even close. But I do know MLBTS consistently puts out a great product that I will play every day for the next 12 months.

As I near the end of my franchise and accomplish what I want to accomplish (see drafted prospects finish career, wrap up my RTTS career, etc.), I get excited thinking about my plans for the upcoming MLBTS. How I'm going to approach my franchise, what position and player type I want my RTTS to be, what team am I going to rebuild, what new prospects can I look forward to and potentially target via trade or FA.

I haven't gotten to a point where I considered not buying the newest version and continue playing the old one as I know I'd have severe FOMO and want any type of new feature/fix they make. Even if it's basically a roster update with new face scans and equipment, that'd be enough for me.

My PS5 (purchased day 1) just died so unless I can fix or replace it I will wait.

To be fair though I never order until after I have seen all the pre-release streams.

All in for me, easy $40 for early access on gamepass. I spend $40 on worse things, heck even at $70 for the game at launch is fine for a baseball fix. Me not buying the game or waiting is not going to show SDS I mean business nor do they care. See ya early access Day 1.

Out….just bought ‘23 (first version since ‘13)……absolutely loving ‘23

Should add….i based my decision on some of the early previews/feedback here on those previews that there isnt a sizeable jump to justify full price….hence the ‘23 purchase for 1/2 the price of ‘24

In! I am every year. I am not in the the game sucks it is stale or it needs revamped.I love the game of baseball so I just enjoy this game every year. I actually think the new presentation looks good. The only thing I hope got better was the commentators. I just hope they added stuff because there was not enough lines in the game and it got real repetitive way too quickly. But all in all I think this year it will be good just like every year IMO.

Out this season. Just don’t get the time to play enough to justify buying a game where franchise will probably be exactly the same. I’ll hang out and wait for 25
