I'm an XBox'r, so I'm in with Game Pass. Normally, spend the $40 to get early access. Was going to bypass that option this year, but I traded in some Microsoft points to get some gift cards, so when that GP option comes up, I guess I'm all the way in. But I will continue with 23 as well with my modern day and 1990 franchises. At least until the eventual updates and rosters come through.

Waiting but probably out which is dad usually I’d be like a kid at Xmas counting down 5 more days but $125 doesn’t cut it for me with Cost of living and so far I’ve seen no change to franchise apart from a mode to play less. Injuries added in which we could already do for custom rosters (I’m sure we can’t edit them in ourselves in roster mode hair physics

No y2y saves again ot importing old rosters which still to this day mlb 2020 was the only one to have it.

I Believe since 2021 it’s been taking steps back EA style which isn’t a good thing.

So I’m note selective with what I buy now with money. I’m very sad about it that I have no excitement

I’ll buy because I collect video games, especially baseball games, and I do want to play through the new Negro Leagues storylines (I thoroughly enjoyed these last year) and I want to play through the Jeter storyline.

But I haven’t decided whether to start over my franchise or not. I hate starting over but I’m also intrigued by the gameplay updates, primarily the outfield plays when interacting with the wall.

I wait till the end of the year too. If I want my fix before then I'll borrow it from our library.

I'm in. Life is too short to deny myself pleasure from the simple things. I'm mainly a Franchise guy and the lack of meaningful updates this year is disappointing for sure. But I spend more money on other things in life that I don't get nearly the amount of time and enjoyment from. So yeah, I'm definitely in.

Killer, I see too that 53% of people said they're buying. But I'm shocked it's not higher. I thought about 70%.

The Out crowd is of 25%. To me that says alot about feelings towards this game.

I'm always in. I don't do franchise just a season or roster updating and testing. Plus I like it when everything is current, uniforms, faces/roster etc, plus the hair movement is what I've been wanting to see for a while so that's a bonus!

For a forum dedicated fans of the series, you'd expect a lot more in votes. The reactions to each reveal all year already made it clear, but the poll results in this thread only help further show that many in the community have started to get near their boiling point with regards to the stagnation with this series.

I figure since those waiting still have hope 24 is worthy of a purchase, I think more than enough of them will get IN sooner than later, and get it to that 70% threshold. And I know those voting OUT are wanting Sony to give them a meaningful reason to get IN, and I think a few will eventually see reason enough for a purchase. It might be the case but I can't fathom spending time reading the Show forum threads every day, day after day, and on some level not have some glimmer of hope there's a reason from Sony to get back into MLBTS at some point.

I have a feeling the improved crowd audio will end up being one of the best things about this years game. Franchise didn’t get a ton of love, but if the gameplay and audio are on point that would go along way to getting immersion in your baseball universe.

I check these every 3-4 days or so. I would say for me, it is not even looking just for something that SDS says to make me get the game but even seeing what others are saying that may get me some sort of enthusiasm for the game. Maybe a cool idea or something like that.

I gave SDS the chance, just like last year, to earn my business. The fact is I didn't see anything that really moved the needle other than RTTS being disconnected from DD. Just doesn't warrant a purchase from me when I will end up being frustrated by my favorite mode and end up putting the game down in May. I did the same thing with NHL a few years ago and haven't gotten it since 21. Plan on doing the same with Madden. I recognize I am not their target demographic and I am not mad about it.

The game just doesn't jump out to me as a must have pre order day 1 game anymore. I wish it did but it doesn't.

Will I end up getting 24 at some point? Who knows. But I am out.

I am honestly not surprised by the numbers this year from this poll here. I don't think the overall player base percent changes but I am not surprised by the results here. I have things I want in the game, like expanded rosters and draft, just like everyone else does. But for me, this is the year I say no to supporting the game. If I want to play the Show, I have multiple versions already I can play and will not miss much.
