Yes and on top of that, when playing a ST game in Franchise, all teams have their Spring Training combo selected by default ( even when using custom entry) with the correct matching home or road pants.

Interesting fact, if you start an exhibition game (Classic), for teams other than NYY & DET you won’t see a Spring Training option if scrolling the uniforms (only a ST cap is available). But if in Franchise ST, correct combo will be presented.

They should take it a step further and make Spring Training uniforms a selectable option, like they did with NYY and DET. For example, the A’s wear their Kelly green alts for Spring Training, but the only difference is that they don’t have NOBs. I’m not sure if any other teams remove their NOBs during ST, or if it’s just an A’s thing.

Another example is the Padres, who wear their brown alts with white pants (the same ones seen on their camo uniforms) instead of their regular home pinstripes, which is what gets selected now during Spring Training post-patch. The Brewers, on the other hand, seem to wear their regular home uniform at home, while they wear their navy alt on the road in real life. In-game, they wear the navy alt regardless of whether they’re on the road or not

Yes it would be better for sure. Or something like NFL Madden where you can create a custom “combination” of all existing elements that you can rename. But they would need to do like Madden and give the option to select socks, helmet, undershirt and belt color from all available uniforms for a team.

Having these all be selectable would fix so many issues with some of these uniforms. I’d love the option to have the A’s wear the Kelly green on the road with the proper Kelly green belt and Stance socks to go with the gray pants. The same goes for the Cardinals and their navy road hat, along with matching navy belts.

Making undersleeves, undershirts, and belts part of the player equipment, rather than the uniform, would be a great change. This would be especially useful for players like Elly, who wore white undersleeves and a hot pink belt last year, or Triston Casas, who wears navy undersleeves instead of the default red

Are the early 80s White Sox unis out (the alternates from the last few years)?

The 1994 Brewers number font is ridiculously incorrect for the third or fourth year in a row (though it's a tough number font to copy).

The 80s/90s Indians/Guardians unis look to have racing stripes that are way too thin.

Kudos on the team adding 16 new throwbacks, with my favorite being the 1987 White Sox and 1994 Mets.

Uniforms I wish they could add on top of the current collection (don't remove any!)

1990 Orioles home/road
1995 Orioles road (as mentioned earlier)
2000s Orioles home/road
Late 1980s Royals powder blue road (pretty much the 1973 road uni but with script Royals)
1988 Angels (thicker halo, block font, circle baseball patch)
1989 Athletics home/road
1990 Mets road (block "NEW YORK" with racing stripes)
1992 Cubs road (horizontal "CHICAGO)
1990 Reds road (slightly different than 70s version)
1994 Reds home/road (the pinstripes, including home hat)
1997 Pirates home/road (alt already included)
2002 Pirates red jersey
1980s/90s Dodgers road (white white outlines and white/blue/white trim)

Anything but the 1990 Mets road jersey with the Yankees script. The team was awful and those jerseys were even worse. If anything, put the 1987 road jersey in, especially now that it’s back on an alternate. Would also like to see the 2015 home/road alternates since those were two of my favorites. Wouldn’t mind seeing the orange Los Mets one either.

But yes, anything but that horrible 1990s jersey.

I think the Brewers started that this year, although I could be wrong. I know the Cubs wear their white home for the first home ST game and then wear blue after that. I’m fine with having to manually select them because to try to get every unique iteration can be annoying when they have all the assets already in game so we can select ourselves. Also first true year with 4+1 made mandatory so Phillies and Cards are just wearing their regular unis.

To your other point, accessories needs to be allowed be to changed. Should be for undershirt/sleeves, belt, socks, and even cleats. Would make it much easier to customize ourselves for little details like that.

I honestly forgot they had different alts for home or road. Seems odd that they don't just have one for both

For the Milwaukee Brewers, the number location on the front of jersey is bit low. Especially noticeable on the blue alternates. IRL the number is, height wise, in the middle of the button. Whereas in game the top of the number is in line with the button.
