I am starting to believe that the uniform team has something against the Baltimore Orioles. The Stance Sock issue was partially fixed last year by attaching them to the Home and Away BP uniforms. This year, GONE again. [emoji2365]

As for uniforms...

Home 1901 - WHY? (Black Hat with no logo, plain white jersey, and pants.)

Home 1951 - OK

Home 1963 - Nice addition, but only worn for one season.

Home 1966 - Perfect, but the absence of the sleeveless version is mildly bothersome.

Home 1971 - Jersey only lasted 5-games. The 1970s and 1980s pullover version without the racing stripes was the alternate jersey of our childhood. It's the same font minus the sleeve stripes.

Home 1988 - Beautiful.

Home 1995 - Very well done. WHERE IS THE AWAY VERSION? Additionally, where are the grey-colored away hats worn that season? If the failed 5-game orange jerseys made it, the grey hats had a shot because they lasted longer.

Away 1901 - I don't have much of a problem with them.

Away 1951 - Meh

Away 1966 - Perfect

Away 1988 - Beautiful

Speaking for other Orioles fans, we would love to see the following in the game.

1954 Home and Away.
1966 Alternate Sleeveless.
1970s/1980s Alternate pullover.
1989 Home, Away, Alternate.
1995 Away and Alternate jersey and hats. Orange bill and grey crown.

I am starting to believe that the uniform team has something against the Baltimore Orioles. The Stance Sock issue was partially fixed last year by attaching them to the Home and Away BP uniforms. This year, GONE again.

That’s the problem with having multiple Stance socks for teams in real life and having them be part of the uniform instead of player equipment in-game. Players like Tyler O'Neill and Colton Cowser on the O's wear the Stance socks with the blocky orange striped pattern, while players like Ramón Urías and Grayson Rodriguez wear the plain Stance socks.

If we could somehow have the option for multiple Stance sock styles (maybe as a second Home/Road/Alt jersey and pants option, similar to the additional hats?), it could allow teams to wear different Stance sock styles. Especially since I believe every team has plain Stance socks in their primary color, plus maybe two other styles? That could at least give us the option to mix and match the different versions of Stance socks AND belts. For example, with the A's wearing their Kelly green alts on the road, we could have gray pants with the Kelly green belts and proper Stance socks. Or, for the Cardinals, wearing navy blue belts at home with the Sunday alt caps.

I know this is preaching to the choir, but man, would it be great if, in a future installment of this series, belts, socks, undershirts, and undersleeves could all be tied to the player’s equipment rather than the uniform, just to avoid issues like this. Having the option for multiple types of socks with current uniforms would be amazing, and maybe for uniforms pre-2020 (I believe that's when player equipment rules changed), everything could be tied to the uniform?

That’s the problem with having multiple Stance socks for teams in real life and having them be part of the uniform instead of player equipment in-game. Players like Tyler O'Neill and Colton Cowser on the O's wear the Stance socks with the blocky orange striped pattern, while players like Ramón Urías and Grayson Rodriguez wear the plain Stance socks.

If we could somehow have the option for multiple Stance sock styles (maybe as a second Home/Road/Alt jersey and pants option, similar to the additional hats?), it could allow teams to wear different Stance sock styles. Especially since I believe every team has plain Stance socks in their primary color, plus maybe two other styles? That could at least give us the option to mix and match the different versions of Stance socks AND belts. For example, with the A's wearing their Kelly green alts on the road, we could have gray pants with the Kelly green belts and proper Stance socks. Or, for the Cardinals, wearing navy blue belts at home with the Sunday alt caps.

I know this is preaching to the choir, but man, would it be great if, in a future installment of this series, belts, socks, undershirts, and undersleeves could all be tied to the player’s equipment rather than the uniform, just to avoid issues like this. Having the option for multiple types of socks with current uniforms would be amazing, and maybe for uniforms pre-2020 (I believe that's when player equipment rules changed), everything could be tied to the uniform?

It should be tied to the player. When you select Stance socks, it should be Option 1, Option 2, or No. If the team only has one pair, then Option 1 and 2 are the same and for vintage, no matter what it just puts regular socks. Would make it a lot easier.

Also the Orioles socks got “removed” because the BP uniforms got removed. They could technically put them on the alternates as a workaround.

The 1998 Home TC1 should be black, but they would alternate depending on if they wore the black hat or the blue hat. So for the setup they have it should be black, but could be either one.

As for the stance socks, I believe they are correct however most don’t wear them and wear the plain blue. Acuña is the only one I can think of that still wears the stance design.

Which did they have before? Right now they have the plain blue that most players wear during games. The Cubby Bear ones that Ben Brown wears and a few others wear in practice/warmups aren’t in anymore. The old CC jersey still has the old CC stance socks as expected.

True, but since the uniform depicted in-game is the one with the black hat, I figured TC1 should be black. It's tricky, though, since most players I see from that era wear black about 50% of the time, but blue the other 50%.

Thinking about it now, honestly, a great workaround—without completely overhauling the equipment system as it stands—would be to have the undershirt, undersleeves, and belt change color in relation to the hat selected. That way, we could have the 1998 jersey worn with the blue hat, which would then change the undershirt and undersleeves to blue. This would do wonders for teams that mix and match too, like the Diamondbacks

They already have CC logo tied to the cap, so this would be awesome. Great idea.
