This 86-93 rainbow shoulder stripe uniforms you're talking about already exists as Road 1980, which is historically accurate (they debuted as a road uniform), but what it sounds like you're asking for is to have SDS recolor the cream variant to white and add it as Home 1986 with that being the only change. Just my own opinion, it would be a waste of a uniform slot given that the cream uniform is already a compromise to what should have been a pale grey uniform.

The reason why there's this color discrepancy with those uniforms in the first place is because throughout the 80s, Houston worked with four manufacturers to make their jerseys (Sand-Knit, Goodman & Sons, Rawlings, and ultimately Russell) and there was a lot of variance between white/cream/grey. Because of this, even though Houston had a default Home and Road set, the Road uniforms would pass as a Home alt on occasion before the manufacturing quality was consistent enough to make it the official "home jersey" for the 1986 season and making the "Rainbow" unis the home alt.

The cream/off-white version of this uniform featured in the game was probably an intentional compromise by SDS to address the manufacturer inconsistency and Houston's uniform set constantly changing through the 80s.

The whites look so much cleaner. I’m not trying to be rude, but I don’t really care about the history or how much they look like white uniforms. They’re my favorite baseball uniforms of all time, and the first uniforms I saw in person as a kid.

Collar is a little off, jerseys don't totally match the templates. The teal doesn't come through on the hat as much, but that happens sometimes when you're talking about really bright colors that are only a couple pixels.

I think that’s just a lighting issue. The picture is a dark backdrop with dark lighting so it looks off compared to that. Would need to see it on the field under proper lighting first.

Yeah, the red should be the exact same as it was last year. In the game now, it's way too vibrant and light

Todays update fixed:

1. Nationals new alt now has the correct color stars
2. Cubs ‘94 away cap and helmet is now correctly with red brim
3. Reds “Mr. Red” alt buttons now are correctly red and socks are now red
4. Brewers city connect navy blue accents now are darker
5. Diamondbacks cream jersey now has red sleeves, belt, and socks
6. Diamondbacks black alt now has black sleeves and socks
7. Diamondbacks grey jersey now worn with black sleeves
8. Diamondbacks batting helmets are now glossy
9. Diamondbacks shade of red I think looks better? Wondering what others think
10. Dodgers ad patch added
11. Padres navy ‘99 socks are now correct
12. A’s 1955 socks are now correct
13. Rangers home uniform with red cap now has red belt

Definitely a very good update from SDS!

Still no post season patches for franchise.

All in all though as was already stated. This was a great patch for uniforms.

They also kinda fixed this. Now they're tied to the normal Stance socks, but I imagine the throwbacks are just supposed to have plain red socks.

We’ll have to see what socks are paired when worn IRL.
