Yeah, the stadium creator should be renamed minor league stadium creator. Its what I use it for the most part. And Double A stadium creator at that. I use the stadiums that come with the game for Triple A parks. And its also good for giving teams different spring training stadiums. But for Major League stadiums, no thank-you, as far as created stadiums go.

These are basically my thoughts on the feature too. I tried making the stadium of a local independent league team to try the mode out but it's just too clunky for me to really dive into. I download a few to mix up my minor leagues but I really just wind up using the existing preset stadiums.

There are a lot of creative stadiums out there but I can't say I've seen any that I would use long-term for a major league team because it's just not possible to have them look on-par with the existing stadiums.

For those of us who use classic old time rosters predominantly, stadium creator has been a God-send to replicate the stadiums used back in the 60's and 70's. What keeps them from being ultra realistic is the foul ground and bullpen issues. Other than that, a few creators have done amazing work on stadiums from the past...

I am very grateful to the stadium creators and what they have been able to do with the limited amount of props, signage, bullpens (in the field of play), walls etc.

I have some incredible parks I use in classic roser play that look beautiful.

I hope they are able to add closed roofs, other turf options, foul ball territory options, bullpens in the OF, signage variety, more world flags (state flags too) etc so they can enhance what they have already accomplished.

But like Cygflames said the fact all parks are porting over to to 25 leaves some doubt to what meaningful additions could have been added. I hope we get a nice surprise for Stadium Creator. And that the limit has not been reached of what can be done.

And if that is the case....a huge thank you to those that have provided some amazing retro/classic parks for the classic roster community.

It would also be nice if they increased the allowable file size for stadiums.

and remove or increase limitation on maximum stadiums we can save locally. Right now if think it's ~30 max. If you want to set all AAA-AA- and ST ones, we would need 90.

BTW that's something I don't get, is there a maximum storage size imposed by Sony ? it's the same for export players, rosters etc...

Based on that trailer it looks like yet another year where they haven’t made any strides with Stadium Creator.

Bullpens are still on the field. I’m sure we won’t be getting domes either.

Personally, I hate aluminum bats. They should be just for softball, not baseball. I know keeping wooden bats on hand is expensive but I have long said MLB should go out of it's way to fund the college game having no shortage of wooden bats.

The clips of college ball are shown in a “created” stadium (created by the devs but using the tool). Although the college teams are implied to be limited to use within RTTS, if they allow swapping out the stadium, that will be a nice new use for the real college stadiums people have made for the past several years.

Other than that, it looks the same to me. I’m sure I’ve put more hours into this tool than anyone else in this thread, and I’m burnt out within the current limits.

The fact that they don’t update this mode from year to year (minus adding props and little things) and then they patch the ability to create domes using backdrop Props is honestly really disappointing. If you’re going to be lazy and not update one of your best features at least let the users have fun with the options at their disposal.

True, but this isn’t new. Remember when they added 5(?) new minor league stadiums a few years back? Those were also made with the creator.

Wow you’re right, I never scrolled that far haha.
The grass looks so bad in those created stadiums. I mean in the real ones it’s pretty sub par looking but man in those created stadiums the grass is straight out of the ps2-3 era for whatever reason. I just can’t play in them.

Looks like the college fields will be the same..
