The announcement that stadiums are transferring again makes it less likely we’ll see any significant new features. I doubt I’m coming back to work on the minor leagues again. Without significant improvements to the tool I’ve pretty much done them as well as I can, and they’ll just transfer to the new game.

I’m really hoping this is the year we finally get domes. The fact that they patched our ability to use the backdrop props to create our own domes was a really bad look.

Stadium creator is in its infancy. It's a good starting point, but if they ignore the issues that have been reported such as bullpens in foul territory, too much real estate in foul ground, etc then you know it is not really going to be upgraded in the coming iterations.



I know it comes down to priorities and budget for the art department. Hopefully, they see this as a real value add that will bring folks both to the game and back for more.



Now, if they could just simplify the rebranding functionality!!

In terms of video game features, it is. A relatively bare bones feature hasn't had any meaningful improvements in the last 3 games. If it doesn't again this year, it's probably pretty safe to assume it never will.

I honestly just need the ability to select bullpen location and changing the size of fonts (or more signs) and I’m satisfied with the feature for now. I’d like domes and some other features, but just being able to select from like 5 bullpen presets goes a long way.

When they announced stadium creator in 21 I was so stoked. I began trying to get a PS5 so that I could take advantage of it. Then I realized that you could only play day games and I lost all interest. I never played 21. By the time 22 came out, I had a PS5 and it was awesome play rtts in the amazing AA/AAA parks the community had created. I started a Rays franchise in which they finally got a new park, but it was jarring playing home games after playing in the real stadiums around the league (for all of the usually sited reasons: bullpens, numbers/lines on the walls, etc.) I eventually abandoned the idea. By the time we get to 23 and 24 I barely touched it. Playing in the Trop or in the generic minor league parks (which haven’t changed in 20 years it seems) was preferable. So for me, unless they shrink foul territory, allow bullpens to be moved, put numbers/lines on the walls, I won’t be touching it in 25.

Yeah, the stadium creator should be renamed minor league stadium creator. Its what I use it for the most part. And Double A stadium creator at that. I use the stadiums that come with the game for Triple A parks. And its also good for giving teams different spring training stadiums. But for Major League stadiums, no thank-you, as far as created stadiums go.

Kindergarten...infancy..ok...whatever. It's still a relatively new feature. I love the concept and hate the implementation. Hopefully they enhance it for at least the basic issues can be fixed.

Yeah, the stadium creator should be renamed minor league stadium creator. Its what I use it for the most part. And Double A stadium creator at that. I use the stadiums that come with the game for Triple A parks. And its also good for giving teams different spring training stadiums. But for Major League stadiums, no thank-you, as far as created stadiums go.

Oh yeah I also used it for spring training in 22 not so much anymore.

I can't say I enjoy it but its a necessary evil. If I wait for someone to make the game play to my exacting standards, I'd be waiting a looong time. I would prefer the dev's to make the game exactly as I wanted but it probably wouldn't sell well, lol.

Fix what??

You keep spouting that the draft is "broken" and you haven't even played '24 to know that is the case for the most recent installment. Furthermore, in a different thread where you were saying its "broken" myself and others shared our draft results and experiences showing that the "issues" you are experiencing in '23 don't exist in '24.

First you weren't buying any of the newer games until Y2Y saves returned, even though you said the same thing when '22 released and '23 and ended up buying those.

Now you're stating you won't buy a new game until the draft is fixed, but are basing that the feature is still "broken" simply because of how it works in a game that is a year, about to be two years, old.

If you don't want to move from your current franchise because you're heavily invested in it, then just say so. No need to claim unfounded reasons to defend/validate your decision.
