Glad to see more throwback uniforms added, they always do a good job with that!

Has there been any sim logic tuning to reduce the number of complete games by starting pitchers to better reflect real life MLB.

Yes, you will now see bullpen management much closer to how MLB teams utilize their staff and lower pitch counts overall.

So, we've now got a question as to what exactly that player circle option does, if it doesn't disable it. I'll check on that when I'm playing the game tonight.

I really like Chris Gill. He was really careful answering that one. Can I read between the lines there’s more error animations ?

Are there more infielder error animations, can fly balls or pop ups be lost in the sun?

Fly balls and pop ups cannot be lost in the sun.

Absolutely the correct reason to have the blue circle of death under fielders, to identify which player your fielding with, so as to eliminate any confusion.

Absolutely wrong to not have the option to turn it off. The CPU doesn't need it on, so I know the option is there.
Now give the option to us autofielders ( and Knight Templar ), please and thank-you.

I’m confused. Am I hearing we can’t disable it?

EDIT: He didn’t answer the question and he absolutely knows what we’re getting at. So, I gotta assume …no. AUTO field controls the fielding so there’s no confusion. If a gamer is confused once the ball is in the glove…..don’t know what to say.

My assumption based on Gill's answer is we can't. I'll know for sure in a handful of hours.

Does blue circle appear if we have auto fielding on? I didn’t play ‘24

                  If it’s like 24, auto field/auto throw, it’s off.

The blue circle when throwing I was I believe in 24 (when manual throwing). I always thought it was just a glitch.

Yeah, the reason I see it is I manual throw with autofield. I choose the blue circle over auto throw. Lesser of two evils.

I do too, but who decided we needed our hand held when throwing? Game should feature a clean screen option.

Right on, brother. Power to the people.
Zero reason to need it on when auto fielding and manual throwing. No confusion whatsoever with who I'm controlling when there is only one baseball to choose to throw.

I call complete BS on this. During the deep dive it showed I think 3 or 4 SP who has complete games on opening day. But why on earth would Chris Hill lie about it? Makes me very curious if it's been tuned or not.

That could have been a really old build they were using.
