I don’t have a video but it’s much better than anything a stadium creator would make. The backdrop has the real buildings and the walls/scoreboards/LEDs are customized. They did a pretty good job IMO.

They did a great job, BUT no excuse not to give these tools to us to customize walls, etc. That would've been a big incentive to upgrade from 24. 4 years into stadium creator and the only upgrade is to import previous years stadiums.

The stadium creator in a PS2 game like MVP Baseball 06 is arguably just as good or in a current title like Rugby 25 is better.

So it’s not an accurate simulation of the 2025 season then.

FWIW its the most accurate simulation of the 2025 season you're going to find. I'm not going to compare it to OOTP because thats like comparing baseball to cricket. But it definitely isn't a complete accurate simulation and there never will be either.

Did the list of audio names get a boost this year

Definitely grew just like last year grew but the same caveat as last years growth applies to this year:
You cannot easily tell if it was women's first names that was mainly added or men or was it evenly split. Last names (in which case gender is irrelevant ) last year was something like 193 pages long and this year its something like 217 pages long.

In franchise do free agents actually sign mid-season?

Naturally in 24 only catchers do, so im hoping that more than just catchers do now?

Yes. The LED section has the Athletics logo and other things to make it look like they are the home team.

Did they fix Postseason mode yet and let you change the start time for games?

Insane that every game starts at night when postseason games are played during the day every year multiple times.

They added only 88 names this year which I believe is the smallest number for any year. You are very fortunate that your name was added back. Mine is still missing.

I can only speak for MLB The Show 22 because that’s the last title I played. In that game my last name was not in the game, now on 25 The Show my last name has returned to the game and I’m stoked.

How do you turn off the jukebox songs.

Huge shout out and debt of gratitude to Country Boy, he pointed me in the right direction. Forget my previous post. , you have to scroll down this year because of the larger font. You can find the jukebox tby scrolling down and cut off all songs or just which ones you want.

How are the stats panning out? Does the league resemble the modern MLB or an older MLB?

No you cannot

Metal bats are only used in the high school and college portion of RTTS

Since everyone was so quick with responses, I figured it out myself. You have to go to custom practice and choose pitching and edit the camera. Then choose batting and do the same. I don't know why they took the option while playing a game. It's definitely a step backwards.

The option is still there while playing the game. It is in settings under "camera."
