I had something interesting and frustrating happen today. I played a game in my created stadium. Elevation set at 450 feet. Opposing team was launching home runs all over the place. A player with 52 power hit not one but two 450 ft home runs. I checked the stadium after the game. Elevation was 42,385 feet. 42,385 is supposed to be capacity. That explains all the home runs.

I went into the stadium to try to edit and save the elevation at 450 feet. It deleted the stadium. All that work gone. They need to fix this mess.

Ugh. Pitiful. If Sony knew they were releasing stadium creator this badly this year, they should have blocked it out and put up a sign saying ''Coming Soon'', so people wouldn't be wasting their time, then unblocked it in a patch when it was ready to go. That would have caused a backlash too but at least they wouldn't be wasting anyones time. If Sony didn't know they were releasing it in this bad a shape, that's even more pitiful.

I enjoy the stadium building but I'd prefer to play the game. I have no inside information but I wonder if the developer who was involved with stadiums was reassigned or left the company. Clearly whoever developed this to begin with was fantastic. I can't imagine it being released like this if that person was still there.

I would not have purchased had I known.

Patience. I'm expecting it to be fixed this week. If not there must be a major problem.

I rebuilt my stadium and have had no crashes. Don't upload to the vault. My problem was elevation was glitched - 42,000 feet which leads to a ton of home runs. Gotta edit it to a normal elevation and be carefull not to delete anything or you might lose the new ballpark.

This is one of the biggest mess ups I remember the game ever releasing with, and I've been playing since 2006. I don't ever remember an entire feature just not working.

Has anyone heard anything from SDS as to when this might be fixed? Stadium creature was the reason why I bought a PS5 in the first place.

The complete silence is really weird if you ask me. At least acknowledge the issue and tell your fanbase you’re doing everything to get it back up as soon as possible. I almost start to think it’s unfixable…

They acknowledged that they are looking into CAS on their website forums.

I understand the frustration for users who built a lot of stadiums and now can't access them but is anybody having problems with a mlbts25 created stadium? I ask because I completely rebuilt my stadium and did not upload it to the vault and I have had no problems with on caveat. Make sure the elevation and capacity are correct before you use the stadium. The game sometimes conflates capacity with elevation - if you see that don't use the stadium.

I haven't picked up 25 yet because I'm now about a 100% retro roster franchise player so I just picked up 24 about a month ago. I've noticed in the "1994" franchise I'm playing that assigning created stadiums takes a really long time to load as do the stadiums when playing the game. I don't recall it ever taking this long with 23 so it seems like they may have a created stadium server issue that's messing with the games. In franchise on 24, it takes up to like 20-25 seconds for the stadiums to populate pregame. So it's not really earth-shattering for my franchise, but it's definitely noticeable in comparison to how it was for me on 23 over the past summer.

I’m happy they acknowledged it finally. I wish they would’ve just put a blanket statement earlier saying they know there is a major issue with CAS not working for older stadiums in the vault and they will provide an update when they have it and for now the team is diligently working on finding some sort of fix.

But I also hope they don’t drag it out and if they can’t fix the issue, just say up front that unfortunately the stadiums will have to be re-done due to an issue that they can’t seem to fix. It would suck but I think it would at least get people moving forward and focused on new stadiums for 2025 sooner than later.
