I didn't buy mlbts 24 and therefore it has been a while since I filed a bug report. I forgot how tedious a process it is just to access the Show Nation bug report process.

My take on this, right or wrong, is that:

      A) in the past when a game was released, that was it. You got what you got. No bug fixes, no updates.

      B) there is a LOT of intricacies in sports games today, they really try to add more and more "stuff", and I don't how much time is allotted for these guys to get all of it done and free of bugs by the time it is released. It's easy to say they're "lazy" without knowing all the details behind the scenes. The fact that this stuff gets fixed, improved, and/or added, is pretty awesome. Stadiums get updated (sometimes), uniforms get fixed, city connect uniforms get added etc etc. Pretty cool.

The Blue Jays and Royals crowds do the same! Yes, this did happen before as well and I believe that they were able to correct it fairly quickly, but man is that distracting!

I know nothing they do will be 100% spot on as not every team manages the exact same way. In a perfect world we'd get different coaching personalities and that personality would inform lineup construction, think OOTP. But as it stands there is one logic all CPU teams will follow and as long as that's the case I'd hope for some tweaks.

The most obvious one - the CPU puts the best hitter at #3. While some teams still do this I believe probably 75-80% of the league has pivoted to their best guy hitting #2. Just fixing the priority to move the best guy to #2 would be a start. Still wouldn't help with Ohtani who hits leadoff in real life and the AI Dodgers will keep lowering him, but it's a start.

It does seem they pivoted away from needing a speed guy leadoff so that's nice. The Dodgers hit Freeman leadoff in the game. I'm not entirely sure what stat is being looked at - contact, discipline, eye etc but generally you want a high OBP guy there.

No earthly idea why the CPU Mets are still lowering Lindor to #6 even though he's now got an 95 OVR. He's been consistently lowered to 6th-7th in franchise every year since he became a Met.
I can live with the best hitter at 3 and some teams do still do this. My biggest issue is most teams in game put their worst hitter in the 2 spot. That is 1980's logic where you'd put a guy who would take pitches, allow the lead-off guy to steal, bunt him over or "handle the bat" and produce a productive out.

That is not how anyone plays the game anymore. I would say that at least 75% of the time when I do a team's lineups, the guy they have batting 2 ends up 8 or 9.

And batting in that 2 spot, he just went 4-4 against me last night.

One thing that I find curious is things that somehow enter the game and aren't correct.

Examples in franchise sometimes the game freezes when I access the bullpen.

The third base coaches wear a jacket. First base coaches don't.

Bug report filed on game freeze.

Anyone have any insight into how to prevent my bullpen pitcher from starting with only [emoji638]/[emoji639] of his stamina level when I schedule him to enter the game in the next inning? So strange how a third of it is gone when I want to have the quality of life option and just start the next inning with him. By the way, I make sure he’s fully warm and ready to go so no issue there

Would sincerely appreciate any help / work arounds here

I know it doesn’t mean much. But we got a patch last year on the Friday after release. So hopefully we will get one tomorrow maybe? Especially with the Astros revealing their new CC uniforms.

Did he begin the game with 100% stamina or had he pitched in the previous game or two?

Last year, it would seem to always get a patch on release day of the new uniforms. So hopefully we get one.
