This is beginning to turn in to a joke. Over half my extra inning games don't count and are sent to the queue for processing. Haven't gotten any credit for them. Complete crap shoot if I get stubs or reward cards.

No DH.

Forced to use Fast Play.

Hopefully this all gets patched before the mode loses it's luster and becomes essentially a card collecting hobby.

Besides the fact that I can't get audio for my team name (which is freaking state in the U.S.), these two things are my biggest issues with DD. I prob play this mode the most, but have to sacrifice way too much to play it. Forced Fast Play is so frustrating; if I wanted to play a game that skips everything, I'd play online or turn the option on myself. Why do they have to force it on me? I enjoy baseball and the presentation of the game, but they aren't allowing me to experience it in this mode...which is inexplicable to me. Also, the DH thing obviously makes no sense whatsoever, but alas, this has been an issue for as long as DD has existed.

Unfortunately, as I said above, I have no hope or expectation that any of these issues will be fixed any time soon, so we'll have to deal with it...or just play another mode (which I'm leaning towards).

Well said. I too enjoy just the overall ambiance of playing a game and seeing replays, cut scenes, etc. Makes the game come alive. It sucks you dont get to enjoy that in DD. I totally get having fast play as default when you're playing a human opponent...but i only like to play the cpu in extra innings mode. Its quite puzzling that its not offered at least as an option.

As far as the DH thing...im hoping that was just left out as a mistake. No reason not to have that either.

It seems we have the exact same playing style. I, too, only play the CPU or the User Teams in the Extra Innings feature because of the fact that online players tend to skip through everything and ruin the baseball experience for me. You call it "puzzling"; I call it maddening. I've been playing the series for many years now and while they get most things right, it's stupid decisions like this that really make playing the game for an extended period of time difficult for me.

BF ... thanks for sharing your critique of the game. For someone who likes a more leisurely pace, I can see your concerns. I happen to like the fast play, but too bad they did not make that an option. I also like no DH, but I'm a national league guy so that is too be expected. Hopefully, someone with some clout will hear you concerns.

Yeah, I totally get that there are plenty of people who prefer it this way...but it just seems to me that they go through all the trouble and work to enhance presentation, and then to force the user to play without it is a little bit counter intuitive. And you gotta think, for as many people as there are that like National League style baseball...there is an equal amount that prefer American League style baseball. Why not just allow the user to choose what style team it is and let all the MLB teams play the way they were meant to? Why choose to force everyone into one style instead of keeping the game like it is in real life, with 2 styles available?

I too have played 2 Extra Innings games and none counted.
Pretty much a waste of time. So I won't bother with DD until they patch it properly.

Also played 2 other DD games, 1 online and one offline vs an mlb team and both counted and gave me a card, albeit a crappy one :P, but DEFINITELY no stubs. I bother to check my stubs total before & after games so I can confirm I got 0 stubs.

And finally, to reply to what's being said: I find it incredible that they don't have AL rules as an option. I've grown accustom to playing AL rules baseball and forcing the NL down my throat won't endear this mode to me.
Same observation regarding quick play, online ok, but offline? Just some strange choices by Sony San Diego.

because I don't. I don' know if that's related or not. I'm thinking everyone who plays Extra Inning has this issue.

I have PlayStation Plus and still haven't gotten a single Extra Innings game to register.

Both of the Online Head to Head DD games I played registered properly, though one was an early concede, and one was a mercy rule win, so I don't know if that helped them to register.

I played an Extra Innings game last night and I got the processing message. I came back from a 6-0 deficit, so hopefully it will register eventually. I didn't get any stubs either.

Since launch day, ive played 13 games in DD. All of them have been offline Extra Inning games....and only 6 have counted/registered. Ridiculous.

I am brand new to Diamond Dynasty and am enjoying so far. Exactly what is Extra Innings? I chose it for the first time last night and I had to pick an opponent listed and it showed various difficulty levels with different percentage of success or something like that.
