The line between competitiveness and abusing the game is a very thin line.

Where do you think the new pitcher they added to DD fits into that spectrum? Or using any player with abnormal abilities (Neikro, Williams, etc.)

For those who don't know, they added a new pitcher to DD in the recent update. I'm not going to give details out about him (to keep you guys from whining about how I'm ruining DD by telling you guys this. Although the reason I'm making this topic is so the devs can change his pitch speeds to more realistic levels)...

But if you've been paying attention to youtubers or you are clever, you can just go into roster control and search out the pitcher I'm talking about.

He has a sub 60 breaking pitch, very high break stat and an above 90 fastball.

Finally got to use him today and despite the fact that I'm doing an all silver player challenge right now, I absolutely destroyed a player who had every single legend and all star on his team. He didn't even hit a ball into play for 5 innings until he quit. I felt so bad but I wanted to test him out for at least one game

I looked at every player that was released in the latest update and could not find any pitcher that had a breaking ball nearly as slow as 60 MPH.

I found him. Looks new but not that new.

There's also nothing to "fix". He isn't rated incorrectly. And he looks nowhere near as good as Neshek in terms of off-speed cheese.

No wonder I was searching for the pitcher and started looking in the Orioles roster first and saw this rated 66 pitcher with a price of 630 Lol

Yeah I saw this last night on the guy I usually follows live stream (manny7788gaming) he put him in his rotation and made ppl quit with him. He even admitted it was almost if not past the level of cheese as niekro is. I have yet to see him in game yet

Well, now that you guys stated the name, might as well talk about it.

Dickey is good but his knuckleball is much faster and doesn't have much break to it. His fastball is also extremely slow (88mph) so he's actually not that good compared to Neikro. Any good player will destroy him.

But Eddie...a 62mph knuckleball with his high break stat and high release? It results in a knuckleball that he throws extremely high in the air and then it just dies in midair and drifts into the dirt. But it's also a knuckleball, so it's almost impossible to tell where its going to land. And then he has a 92-93 fastball which is what makes him almost impossible to hit, despite the fact that his stats are horrible.

If hits k/9, H/9, and HR/9 are low, the PCI of the batters he faced will literally take up about 80% of the zone

It doesn't matter if they can't properly time the swing or have no idea whether the pitch is going to be a strike.

It's hard to explain why he's so deadly. Mostly because he has a 93mph fastball he can follow up with. He's not as good as Neikro because of his stats but he's 2x better than Dickey or Neshek.

just checked and I have him. im not gonna use him, but if his price gets to like 2 or 3k I will definitely sell it.
