I read on Reddit someone came up with a macro app to automate controller keying for Community Challenges. I don't think the intent of Community Challenges was to use hair ties and macros to help automate things but this doesn't really concern me. What is a concern is the possibility of creating controller macros with these apps for certain tasks in online head to head gameplay. You guys think this could be a thing?

What kind of benefits would something like that give for online games?

I can imagine someone creating something that would move the PCI to a certain area in a lightning fast amount of time to hit the ball. I know this is probably not likely but I'm impressed with some of the stuff people have come up with when it comes to app development.

A suggestion for the next version of the "Free stubs without playing" challenge, you should see whether sac bunts give more or less points than a normal fielder's choice RBI. Since Dee gets hit with a FC groudout on every no-throw or throw home, if it's possible to make a situation where that gets charged as a sac bunt instead of an out, it might give more stubs.

A suggestion for the next version of the "Free stubs without playing" challenge, you should see whether sac bunts give more or less points than a normal fielder's choice RBI. Since Dee gets hit with a FC groudout on every no-throw or throw home, if it's possible to make a situation where that gets charged as a sac bunt instead of an out, it might give more stubs.

The thing with that is, if it's a sac bunt then it's also an out, so the challenge will end a lot faster. We want those fielder choice throws because they're almost always too late and the run scores, so an out isn't recorded, so the challenge can run longer.

Yeah, I didn't want more outs or anything. I'm not aware of the intricacies of the failed fielders choice/sacrifice rules, I was just thinking that if there was a way to get it scored that way instead of an out it could help. I suppose there's no situation where it would get scored that way if it didn't in the original version though.

for these challenges, if you press retry instead of exit do you still get the rewards from the first completed challenge after finishing the retry? + the rewards from the retry also of course.

Pretty sure you'll get the stubs for completing it twice, but you're limited to 10 cards regardless of how much xp you get. So if you complete it once and get 10 cards, completing it twice without quiting won't give you 20, only the first 10.

Okay just wanted to post to fell you guys that doing the triple play challenges during weekend when their doing the special pack promotions is the way to go. Tonight I already pulled bumgarner, a machado, and a Jansen. I will post picks when I pull another gold or diamond player but I got the same luck last weekend as well with these challenges.

Okay last post but I think I figured out how to get good cards (gold/diamond) from this challenge. It seems like for every third completion of this challenge (i.e. get to around 30000 xp points) you'll get a high level card. You'll see that I just pulled a diamond ritual card and it came on my third completion of the challenge upon getting wade davis (which helped me get george brett btw).

Edit: I think my theory is right. Just pulled hanley 3 completions of the challenge later

You get Xp, it just doesn't show you until you get out.

I was doing this one for a while, but sometimes Yogi gets out of the squat a little slow. I've been doing a White Sox one, and get about the same number of errors as the Royals one. There's also no meter to worry about, and last night I ended up getting a Bryce Harper.
