Typically it takes about 1500 innings to "command" a team, correct? If I calculated it correctly you would essentially need to play roughly 20 (9 inning) games in order to fulfill most "command" requirements - if you were to fill your roster full of players from the same team.

Has anyone had trouble redeeming their 10-pack reward from beating Conquest? I received the item in my locker, but when I go to redeem it all I get is a server error.www.heyimbill.com | sports poster art and other cool stuffComment

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
I'm on my second attempt at Conquest. My first, I didn't completely understand it, so I restarted.
I disagree with everyone saying "ignore strongholds". If you ignore them, the CPU just keeps stacking fans on it. I made a B-Line for Colorado, and had it captured in the 2nd turn. I then had Seattle by the end of the 5th turn. Expand, expand, expand.
If you capture the stronghold, that team no longer generates new fans, so during the distribution stage, they can't do anything. The other reason to go for the strongholds is that you only have to beat the team once to capture it, and then you take it over, regardless of how many fans were on it. So if they have 50 fans on it, if you attack with 70 fans (or however many for the difficulty you want to play at), you only have to beat them once, not once for every fan like the normal tiles.Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
Does anyone know if playing the CPU on diamond dynasty counts towards the command missions? I played 2 games and got a message saying the game was pending or something like that. The stats with my players never registered and the innings didn't either.Comment

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
I got the queued game message twice so I'm debating whether or not I should try again or if it's going to waste my time. I haven't tried for probably over a week so maybe its been fixed.Comment

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
I feel like I'm getting nowhere in Conquest... I win some, I lose some. Move fans around, I take some bubbles and the CPU takes them back. I lose important games and feel like I'm right where I started. Even when I win it isn't enough to get anywhere. I need some strategy, I have no idea what I'm doing. Also am I suppose to ever move fans from my stronghold?
What am I doing wrong in this mode?
Thanks.Comment

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
I just beat the Pirates in conquest in 4 innings and it didn't give me the win or complete the conquer mission for them nor did it count my hits towards the mission for tally hits.. Am I missing something? I've beat a few other teams in more than 3 innings and had no issues.. Do certain teams have certain goals for it to count?Comment

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
I searched but didn't find this question on any of the combinations I can think of.
Is there any way to split a fan stack besides the Move Fans phase? For example, I have a 30 count stack on my starting square. I attack an enemy square with a 1 stack. I win without losing any fans.
1)Can I move 20 fans into the stack I just won and leave 10 in my starting square?
2)Can I attack 2 enemy squares with say 10 against each one(thereby splitting the stack?
It seems like I have seen the AI do this and leave behind some defenders from the attacking stack.Comment

Re: Conquest Question and Answer Thread
I know this hardly pertains to the topic but I can't find a thread where it does. (If anyone knows where I'd like to know). When playing online, every time a runner steals and I try to throw them out my catcher pauses for a second before throwing. I watch other people throw the ball quickly and normally. No matter when or how I press the button to throw, I get an animation where my catcher just stands there for a second before rearing back to throw. I don't think it's connection related because I was playing a friend with terrible connection and he could throw just fine. Sorry for such a long questio.Comment
