A lot of people were stockpiling him expecting him to go diamond. I got in early enough to sell him at 25k; I'm sure the market will stabilize with him in the 20+ range once everybody is done rushing to liquidate their investments.

How about cheap cards to stock up on. I had 32 Jake Lambs and he went silver. Quick sold all got $3200 and made about $2800 off the investment...

      Anybody like that?

I just loaded up on some Adam Jones. Been on a tear this month and is bound to go back to gold here shortly. Am I doing this right?

I'm thinking about buying some Stroman cards. He's pretty cheap and he might be able to be a gold again in the futur. Good or bad idea ?

I know I read that they were thinking of sending him down to straighten things out, so I'd wait and see on him.

No reason to do that now until he actually shows signs of improving, he sucked again today.

his hitting took a downgrade and his defense is horrible. he really should have never been close to as much as Trout if you ask me.

IMO he's not worth significant investment in. His price (~500 stubs) still reflects his relative rarity as a recent gold, but continues to drop as people crack more of him out of packs. If he does rebound and get boosted back to 85OVR, the influx of silvers will keep him from regaining his previous value, and the risk/reward analysis of a 500-stub player who

                    a) needs to turn it around significantly,

                    b) needs to be recognized by SDS as a real change and not a short hot streak, and

                    c) has a ceiling on his ultimate value as a gold

makes it a risky investment. If his value goes to 250, it might be worth grabbing a handful. For the record, I expect him to turn his performance around - there's too much talent there not to. I just can't count on him doing it in time to be a worthwhile investment.

I bought 20 Wilson Ramos over the past few weeks. I know he went up recently, but dude is hitting .345 with like 14 hrs. Mostly off RHP, but he should be rated significantly higher in his right handed power and contact.

It's almost like last year was an aberration. He started really hot this yearand then when everyone started to walk him it threw him off and he hasnt been able to recover. I bought him when he was a 98 and i dont use him much now unless he has a really good IE day. If he keeps playing the way he is he may go gold

I hope he doesn't keep dropping. Even at 95 he's my second best hitter behind Stocker.

He continues to play the way he is he will drop fast.

This is why I'm glad I didn't sell off all of my collection/mission legends. Gotta be ready just in case everybody drops to the bottom lol

He needs to change his approach, hes getting killed by fastballs, like hitting.150 against fastballs killed. He needs to stop sitting on breaking balls or hes gonna be a gold pretty quickly
