Yup was holding onto him waiting for his price to go up then they put him in there and had to sell for only 24k. Not even sure it's worth using the tickets on him though since Prince is my 1B. Wonder if they will keep up the diamond trend every week now or not because maybe he was already scheduled to be in the captain store or something kinda like syndergaard but perhaps they chose him earlier in the week idk if it's scheduled guys or they adjust

The two gold pitchers are so cheap on the marketplace that you're better off just using stubs instead of tickets to get them if you really want either one.

Hamels is 6k. That isnt cheap to me. It takes me forever to get that many stubs.

It's definitely a lot if you're only playing games and completing missions.

But on a good day, you can generate 6,000 stubs in 3 or 4 flips on the auction house.

Tickets are far more valuable than stubs this year.

Tickets are worth much more than stubs, and you can make that 6k in a few days with some basic flipping or you could go longer-term with investing.

If someone is more interested in playing games than playing the market though, then tickets are a lot more gettable than stubs. You can easily play enough games to get enough tickets to get a gold player, if you relied on playing games for your stubs then you'd be waiting a while!

I don't know, I've played over 100 games and only have 1400 tickets. Takes forever

I get it, you want to use captain bonuses. Not going to put a bunch of randoms that have fielding attribute below 60 just for more tickets

So, you get 1 ticket per inning and then the bonuses. Your 100 games generated you 900 tickets. you had another 500 tickets, which shows that you hit the bonus tier 20 times in the 100 games.

You essentially hit the captain reward every 5 games. If you fill up your captains with the cards they support, you will hit the bonus tier once in every 1.23 games.

If you had played the 100 games with a fully decked out captain team, you would have hit the bonus tier 81 times. You would have had 2,925 tickets for those 100 games instead of 1,400 tickets.

Now, if you don't want to do that, the choice is yours. But SDS gave you a way to earn a decent amount of tickets with the bonus tiers if you want. It's your choice to do it or not to do it.

Well said!! It really isn't hard to get the necessary tickets to get Rizzo if you follow captains requirements. You have 6 full days to get 2300 tickets. That is 383 tickets per day. Using a full captains requirement roster, that is maybe 2 hours of time per day.

Need 200 more tickets for Rizzo. I have Votto now but he will drop soon with the way he is playing so it will be nice to have Rizzo to take the mantle.

I'm going to wait instead of going for Rizzo. Fielder is just as good, and Rizzo is the cheapest diamond there is of the current guys. Odds are, they'll have other diamonds in stores soon who are worth more for the same amount of tickets since ticket price appears to be based on OVR. Hopefully Machado, Arenado, or Fernandez show up soon, as they'd be great for my team. Also, I'm guessing some of the unreleased flashbacks that were leaked will eventually show up as level 40 or 50 rewards
