Re: Can we get some kind of trade thing started?
One way that I suppose it could be done is if you put the player you wish to trade on the market for a higher than average amount, have your trade partner immediately buy it now, and then to make up for the stub deficit you could have your partner place some bronze/low cost players for high amounts that no one will buy at, and you can purchase those until you have covered the fee for him purchasing the player being traded.
Then of course, you'd have to do the same with the player you're sending over.
It could definitely work, but very tediousComment

Re: Can we get some kind of trade thing started?
I'm confused. Can't I request to buy Trout for say 500 stubs and someone just goes to my bid and sells to me? Isn't that what sell now is? Can't I give a user here a list of all the cards I have and then sell them to that user for however many stubs I want to? It doesn't have to be put up for sale correct?Comment

Re: Can we get some kind of trade thing started?
People are missing my point. Let's just say someone wants my two gold cards and some silvers for Trout or another Diamond player. In theory, we could agree on a price to sell all of the players for and I would go to sell now for whatever the price was agreed upon. We would do this until all the cards were traded.
As an Angels fan, I'm never going to get Trout because he's so darn expensive so unless I get incredibly lucky, I will never be able to complete the mission of getting all the Angels or any of the teams with diamond players for that matter. Same goes if you are a Nationals fan or Orioles fan or whatever.Comment

Go ahead. Try it. Go to the marketplace and try to sell any random card for an amount different than the highest sell now order. It absolutely, positively, 100% cannot be done.
I already have Trout and Harper and have completed both the Angels and Nationals sets, so it can be done without some inane workaround. Especially one that won't work.Comment

Oh okay. Sorry I am new to Diamond Dynasty. How did you manage to get Trout and Harper? Did you just pay real money to get all those stubs? You really think like at 1 or 2 a.m. people are going to be sitting on diamond players page and just staring at it for hours and hours hoping the price goes down?Last edited by Beatles; 04-16-2016, 01:13 PM.Comment

If you put in a sell order for 5000 (or whatever you mentioned) all the orders higher than your order would need to be fulfilled before anyone gets to your order. For Trout, at least, the order list likely will never shrink down to zero orders. So, you likely will never be able to sneak in a 5000 order for a card like Trout unless it's an extremely rare occurrence. Hope this makes sense.Comment

Even if your theory worked, nobody in their right mind is just going to gift him to you out of thin air. The cheapest you are ever going to get Trout for while the game is still hot will be around 90k. Maybe 80k by the All-Star break and that is the absolute minimum.Comment

Re: Can we get some kind of trade thing started?
I would at least try to build up your stubs to a good round number like say 100,000 and then decide what to do next. There's no strategy to get Trout. Just put in a buy order and hope it's fulfilled.
Last year I was attempting to complete the Pirates collection so I had to find a way to get McCutchen at 45,000. I ended up earning stubs via marketplace so I could afford to make a buy order (45k) that would be fulfilled.
I can't speak for anyone else but on dedicated days I think I can earn at least 10-15K stubs from buying low and selling high.Comment

I need to learn how to fllip cards. It takes me like 30 min just to get 500 stubs playing DD conquest. Clearly, that's not how you make a lot of stubs.Comment
