There's also rumors in BR about players being able to cause freezes for their own benefit.
The freezes used to happen frequently, but doesn't happen anymore. I had one great BR run where I got 3 wins screwed away because people pulled that on me as the game was ending and it didn't count.

Getting to 6 isn't hard, but it's not easy. Getting to 12 is hard. Getting to 20...I wouldn't know, the farthest I got was 16, and then in the 17th game I got completely obliterated. I was bad but I was in the middle of a BR addiction and was probably a zombie at that point.

Also, you can make big bucks off the 6 or 12 game reward, but it rarely happens to me. You have to get really lucky with what they potentially reward you. Too many instances my reward is the same (Throwback Joba was my 2 and 6 reward) and too many times, my 12th win reward is something I could've gotten at 2 or 6. The one time I hit 12 wins to see what was at 20, it was a Brooks Robinson. To say I was disappointed would be extremely understating it.

And see that's terrible. All that work for Gordon Beckham who isn't worth a damn is stupid.

One time I had Rookie Yasiel Puig waiting for me at 12.

I lost two straight at 11.

That's the best part about BR though. You can get cards there you can't get anywhere else.

This is totally doable. First thing is to sell every dup you get (unless you get an investment type player. Then work the market. I have found that the lower value cards turn over pretty fast and you can get to 10k reasonably quick. Then take that 10k and invest in a couple mid-grade cards then take the remains studs and build them up again.

I also am focusing on one league at a time so I am more inclined to sell off higher value cards for one league to benefit another.

So true. BR is a blessing and a curse, depending on the reward.

Do you ever flip the FB and Legend cards? I am having a very tough time flipping Grandal FB.

I personally stick to live series because there is a higher volume of buyers looking to complete sets. Also have found flipping diamonds can take a bit more time, so silvers and golds (especially those with five-star inside edge) are a quick way to cash in.

I just got to my 6th win, and my reward was Steve Finley. That's cool he's 1000+ stubs.

My 12th win reward is Jack Morris. He's worth half of my 6 win reward. Why am I always hustlin backwards in this mode??? I think in 4 of my games I was down at one point and had to come back and this is how they reward me

Any time the 12 win card is garbage start over. Wasting 500 stubs each time comes back quickly when you get a good silver or gold the next time worth 3-6k like a dozier or Salazar.

I'm going to keep going because the 20-0 dream is still alive and real. Also I have like 500 stubs lol. But these next 6 games are going to feel loooooooong.

Just started game 7 and my opponent starts with a 2 run homer. lol GG
yet another comeback win. down 2-0 with 2 outs in the bottom 3rd but a man on first and I homered. got out of a bases loaded jam the next inning and then drove one in with 2 outs. mike aviles is one of "those" guys for me. my opponent was good, he made me earn this

I tried to play BR with the free entry a couple weeks ago, and my assumptions ended up being correct with how awful the lag is on this game. I first tried to play a baseball game online back on like The Show 2006 or something on PS2. I played two games and stopped because it was dumb seeing the pitcher go in to his motion, everything stop for a split second, and then the pitch is being called a strike that you never saw because of the lag. This year's BR was the first time I tried to play a baseball game online since then, and it is still just as bad. You've got pitchers popping through their motion and you see the baseball for about one-third of the amount of time it is actually in the air. I don't understand how anyone plays any baseball games online at all.

Are you playing with wired connection? I used to have that problem a couple years ago playing on wifi. But now the lag is almost nonexistent.

To add on to the original topic I hope I can rack up the stubs to get trout or have some great pack luck to get him. My BA in BR with him is insane. Maybe I'll sell some players and buy some stubs to put him on my team. I've used Harper and I'm not impressed but everyone plays differently with the same person

No, I use wifi. Wired isn't an option. But I don't have any issues with playing NHL or Project Cars online, which should be just as sensitive to any lag as The Show is considering they are just as high-paced, and those games run perfectly with no lag. Oh well.

I pulled Cargo with the 10 pack the devs sent to all the people that bought the game at launch as a sorry for the issues and I have wanted to sell him for weeks now since I am done with the Rockies innings and feed missions but no matter what, I never see him sell for more than 8,800 stubs even with todays ID ranking of 91 and 5 stars. He always seems to be around 8,200-8,400 anytime I check on him. I'd like to get around 9,500 for him so I will just wait it out and hope he starts selling for higher.
