I’ve posted numerous times how I abandoned these idiotic moments multiple times and I can honestly say at this point that I would rather have the stat grinds back. It’s only June 4 I have no incentive to do a damn thing but play some ranked seasons games. I’m afraid that’s going to get old real quick. They made it way to easy to gain a great team and way to annoying to bother doing anything else. Pretty much every team you face has at least 4 SS players and the rest are players 93 and up.
They also made the CAP useless by capping him at 89 when there are a dozen better options at every position

Fully agree, it's the worst ever year of DD imo, just down to the complete lack of content that encourages you to play the game

85% of the balls hit were to the RF no matter the timing or pitch. 3 hits into the OF I could have tried going for a 2B realistically but there was a runner on that never went

I needed 2 more XBH to finish it entering the last game. Final 2 ABs I hit towering shots that were caught up against the wall.

The Domingo German from the April moments was definitely altered. Pitch speeds were way faster than they should have been. Which was whatever since we only pitch but still. It's so noticeable.

Also lol at ever having to hit with a pitcher in an American league game

Randomly doing these April missions and the Glasnow one.

Funny how I can strike the CPU out at will on All-Star and higher yet on "Veteran" they easily get 3 hits and are the most patient hitters ever. And every ball thrown that isn't right down the middle gets called a ball.

I can mow through 3 innings, need 2 left, and it's impossible every time, they start swinging at everythin
Got 8 strikeouts in first three innings and took 4 innings to get the last 2. Thank God it's over, game pulled me out with one strikeout left twice

omg so many strikeout missions
I can't believe I got the Hector Neris one on the first try

I have 22 hits in 5 games doing this Devers moment, but nothing will go over the fence. One landed on the very top of the fence and kinda just rolled off back into the field of play.

Man, every time you have to do some of these you are quickly reminded about everything that is awful about them.

You do one of these stupid strikeout missions and see the computer hit everything and think to yourself "man, these are the worst". Then you go to a moment where you need to steal using the RTTS controls and you realise "no wait, these are the worst". Then you need to win a game but fail because you won it wrong apparently and you realise that they all just absolutely suck.

There are so many little things that are just badly done with them though that even a little bit of testing would have flagged, like having to bat when player locked with the pitcher in a mission that only requires pitching stats.

The ones I hate the most are the multi-game ones. Just insipid.

Also, at this stage, there's just too damn many. I generally like how they emphasized player choice this year, but it'd be nice if they didn't overload things. It often feels like they basically designed the content mostly for their Twitch partners rather than regular players.

Multi game ones are highly annoying too because you cant just pause and restart after a bad start like the single game ones. You have to back out of the game, reset the series, load back into the game. Rinse, repeat. Also they are called moments, what kind of "moment" lasts 4 games?

I have discovered that there really aren't any kind of moment I don't hate. My least hated are the ones using my team, where I simply have to win the game. That is tolerable as that is at least baseball, although still pretty annoying due to the awful sliders that make gameplay in moments so terrible, but at least that is the only issue with those

Hahaha, I feel your pain. I got within 1 by the end of the 5th, and then started having eight-pitch at-bats before finally getting Cheslor Cuthbert (he was my b**** that game) to finish it.

I usually get the SP strikeout missions on the first try, but the Brandon Woodruff one tested the hell out of me. Seemed like if you didn't get a perfect release the ball would miss its spot by two feet, without fail. Ended up down 6-0 in the 7th with about 125 pitches before I got the 9th strikeout with that one.

Neris I got on the third or fourth try, couldn't get Ben Freaking Gamel to take anything near the zone. The Cishek one was a lot harder for me because his pitch mix is garbage, and you waste an out on a sac bunt.

Just pitched my first perfecto in the Show EVER. 17 K’s at home against the A’s with SS Bumgarner.

Unfortunately I failed to also get 2 hits with him so I failed the moment 🤮

Same. I’m absolutely taking with him. Tried 15 times. Multiple hits every time. Nothing over the fence.
