    Re: Showdown Thread

Grinded AL Showdown some more and now have all teams in the division other than the Indians at 70/70.

Is there info yet on the new Showdowns or the next set of TA cards at 120 points?

I know they started releasing the new cards but I haven't seen anything on new showdowns. I think they confirmed there's definitely stage 2 showdowns just no details.

        Re: Showdown Thread

I just had a bug in the 2nd Inning Showdown.

Bob The Bulldog - finish the 9th without giving up a hit.

Struck out the first two batters, walked the third, then threw him out trying to steal 2nd for the third out. Game over.

But the screen said Defeat and marked that I had given up a hit. No Gold Player, Diamond Perk, 2 Showdown Runs, or Stubs for me!

I hope the game will give me a make-up call and allow me to beat Feller in the Final Showdown.

Yeah I've seen other people say similar things. If you're ever take a screenshot or video and send to SDS. They seem to do a decent job at least trying to make stuff like that right.

I didn't take a screen shot, but I reported it in the bug thread. Maybe they'll fix it for the next guy. I would have really liked to win that one, I need all the help I can get in the Final, and now I only have 4 runs with one Moment to go.

Having a lot of success doing NL Central because Hader runs out of gas around 67 pitches. And I only do the first 3 missions (possible max of 4 runs) then skip straight to him. Usually takes around 30-40 minutes to do. Just need to do a few more to get the last guy in Yadi.

Yeah having a RP as the boss helps due to the stamina. I typically still go all the way start to finish when I do Showdowns due to the stubs and XP gains which are very good.

Did he walk you a lot or you just light him up?

I just beat him and got 4 hits total, one was a walk off grand slam but he walked me a ton.

Well I experienced a glitch: I just beat a mini boss...had like 7 outs left and I get back to the showdown screen and it said I lost. At least it was the 1st boss. I'm having slow network connection to the game right about now.

Wow the walks make it easier for sure.

I beat him tonight fairly easily. I went in down 15-7 (skipped Flaherty) and won will 11 outs left. I hit 5 HRs but only had 3 walks. I guess I’m not patient enough at times.

Beat the 2nd Inning Showdown last night on my first try. Got David Price as the final boss but only needed 3 runs to win (won every showdown but the last before the final boss). I was fully expecting to play Feller at the end so I was planning on getting a bunch of lefty hitters, but the game had a different idea in the drafts by giving me a ton of righties but it definitely worked in my favor in the end. This Showdown was exponentially easier than the 1st inning version.

That Wade Boggs card can absolutely rake.

Just an FYI as soon as the draft is over for any showdown look at the bottom left and it will show the logo of the team for the final boss (ie Dodgers for Price). You know before you even play your first mission so you can begin to draft accordingly.

I have 26/30 FOTF cards. Time to push for 30! Great way to earn XP as I'm level 10 diamond now.

Wow impressive! I have 10 currently.

Any tips to beat both East Showdowns? Those are the toughest to me.
