Yeah, there is a play vs cpu, i believe, in the extra innings menu in Diamond Dynasty.

Play now from the main menu does not work because you are not using your DD team.

It really bothers me extra innings don't count. That's the closest to playing online there is against other DD teams just without the cheesy nutbags we play. I don't get why they don't count.

Finally got the FoF Toress. Did a mix of exchange and innings grind. Also the stat challenge for them. Not sure if I'm going to pursue more of them the innings grind was kind of tedious. Exchange can probly be had for cheaper once more people have the game.

Like many things, people figured out how to abuse it few years ago when grinding stats was such a big part of the mode.

Someone made a team called the Yeti, that was something like a team of all awful slow catchers at every position making it easier to get score runs, tally rbis, get doubles and triples.

Of course now that the stat grinds are mostly a thing of the past the question is why don''t they put it back.

If that's what people want to do then let them. If they're going to force us to grind meaningless stats at least let us do it there. I just wanna play cool, unique teams without the ****ty lag and idiot opponents.

I don't see how playing the Orioles is any better than a team of scrubs someone makes. Why they wanna limit us is weird

I rather agree now that they don't have any stat long missions to partake in.

I especially can't find any reason that innings should not count for Affinity when you play that mode.

Finally having some success w/ the Team Affinity moments. Only tried hitting so far and while it take me a while i'm able to complete some.

I still for some reason have a hard time hitting HRs but the weird thing is that there is a moment w/ Matt Olsen to hit 2 doubles. In that moment, all I do w/ the guy is hit HRs. Like 2 a 3 per moment try. I can't get past it because I need doubles.

I would like to get the innings or strikeouts or whatever stats I can get from actually playing Showdown too...

The problem with that is that you are not playing showdown with your DD squad.

I used the USA conquest to knock out all the team based missions (HRs, XBH with certain positions) was an easy 5 points for each team while grinding conquest. Outside that showdown is the best way to go. I got through the entire NL central (easiest showdown) and Gallo and Snell. And the later Afinity packs are sellable and so far I've pulled two diamonds from them (Lindor and Freeman).

Sounds like a lot of diamonds are flying out of the team affinity packs. I've seen quite a few people hit big there.

Yeah I think I've earned 21 packs and pulled 2 diamonds. Could be random luck but looks like better odds than regular packs.
