Wouldn't a BP or Warmup feature be cool? I don't know what it would give you, but im posting it on here so we can all think of ideas!

I was just thinking about this yesterday, too funny. BP before the game would be great. Or just a feature where you can take any player and go to a park and take BP with nobody in the stands... you could rattle balls off of scoreboards and the like. That would be a great feature.

How about hitters fouling balls off their shin? Whats the point of shin guards if hitters never foul any balls off their shin?

MVP is the only game I can think of that has had this.

Less blown calls by the base umps. That is really irritating. Maybe a speed burst button? In this game it seems the the CPU fielders are ALWAYS in position for diving catches or Rocket up your you-know-what catches. I think it would be cool for some stadiums to have longer infield grass so the ball rolls slower than other stadiums. A great feature for teams built on speed.

How about more scenarios during rtts like when u are on base the cpu sometimes bunt also like hit and run while you are at bat .. more scenarios because its boring to juss bat and get on base and steal easy bases

MLB 09 needs something like the Madden IQ. It is the best. No more wasting hours tweaking sliders. Just take a few tests and play perfectly competitive games.

First I like to say this game is the best baseball game ever made. I traded in my Xbox 360 to get MLB 08 and Metal Gear. Anyway, this game never gets old and never stopped playing it. Its the game I play the most. I never really liked RTTS but thats my opinion but still a good concept. This is what I like to see in next years game:

1. Home Run Derby
2. Better World Series Celebrations(Going in locker room etc)
3. Better cinematics
4. Warm up pitches when new pitcher comes in the ball game.
5. When pitches comes in the game, I would like to see him walk from the stadium ball pen to mound, like a cutscence or something.
6. Better home run celebrations( but they are still good)
7. Own walk up to plate music.
8. Team specific announcers( But that wont happen)
9. Use something like 2k8 pitching and throwing machanics, get rid of button pressing
10. Better base running
11. Like previous poster(get rid of sliders and impliment something like tiger woods 09 challenges
12. Bench clearing brawls but you know that wont happen.
13.Better camera angles.
14.Player of the game interview after the game.

Franchise wish list:

- Be able to port your roster set from MLB 08 to MLB 09 that way you can continue your franchise from one game to another.

For example, during the course of the season the CPU (or yourself) makes transactions like blockbuster trades, player drafts, retirements, free agency etc. and say you've played 3 seasons down the line. It would be nice to be able to play this SAME roster set to the new game so I can enjoy the updates of the new game (i.e. new stadiums for the Yankees, special features) yet preserve the roster set I've created.

One thing I forgot to add in my last post:

Give us the option to use pictures stored on our hard drives as player pics. This way when a trade goes down, we can photoshop the correct teams cap on the player, save it to our hard drive, then use it in the game.

Great idea, I would only add the ability to port all the players faces that you create... I have created some excellent renditions of the "greats of the past" lots of man hours invested, I'm not sure I have the energy to create 600 faces every year...

I did a DVD of all 600 face maps that I will use in 09' if the Face Tool is the same type system...

No Stupid Trades from cpu in franchise ..... making rtts more fun when you pick to play as a outfielder all you do is catch easy fly balls and if no just chase the ball that is hit for a double..let us throw home on a sacrafice hit or more scenarios than just catch and thats it..also fix the throwing thing because when theres a person on second or third the OF takes years to release the ball..
