I'm pretty sure that it was record/rivalry for regular season games...
Do you know what the regular season record was for the two teams?
I hope they see this and make sure it can't happen in '09.
I'll drop Chris/Kolbe a PM about it to make sure.

I'll check today. Also, I'm pretty sure the attendance at the opening was listed at 41,000+ ... so it could just be an anomaly. The Cell is sold out when we've played the games there.

At about 1:42 in the following clip a Home run is hit. Nothing pops up saying how many Home runs for the season that was.

That's probably an exhibition game. In Franchise mode, they always mention the number of HR's you've hit.

        Yeah, always mentioned for me.

A little graphic would be nice too but I'm just being greedy!

So then I am half right.

The Play by Play guy does mentioned it. But there is no graphic that pop up saying 18th Home run of the year. Correct?

I hope Sony will add this.

FWIW: played game 5 today ... attendance listed at 40,101 ... same scattering in the OF upper decks.

Colorado won 96 games ... I won 111 in the regular season.

Yeah...that shouldn't be even happen if it did involve the regular season records.
I'll drop him a note about that also.

Here's hoping for homerun derby and/or some other fun mini games.

                      Realistic rookies.

                      More simulated trades.

                      More racial diversity.

Realistic name according to skin color.

                      Possibly relocated/and new teams.

                      Hustle attribute.

                      Realistic Retiring.

How about being approached my municipalities interested in relocating your franchise? They can offer you packages to come to their city ... you'd have to weigh market size and baseball fan base, backlash, etc. ... Portland, Vegas, Orlando, Nashville, Hartford, Brooklyn, OKC ... might be hard to implement ...

I would LOVE that. But I'm sure MLB Baseball would put the lockdown on anything like that.
How great would it be though to take over the Dodgers and then court Brooklyn to bring that franchise back where it belongs?!

Ya know, that has been one of my biggest beefs with most sports games outside of EA Sports games. EA seems to get the names/skin colors right. Without trying to racial stereotype, there's certainly something to be said about this issue. There is nothing more irritating than to see black guys named Yu Fuk Doo or Alexander Volokov, and white guys named Deandre Patterson or DeMarcus Washington. The NCAA Football series had this spot on. I was always impressed by how well the generated names were done, in connection with the race/nationality of the player. I wish The Show could somehow get this right as well.
                              It's only a video game.
