when they say field-degradation, does this mean the foul lines and batters-box will wear off throughout the game as well? The foul lines look too nice and fake in '08.....

Most of the long list of features listed are the same as last year...nothing looks very much different from last year... I'm gonna have to see this game in action to notice a difference...

The game information released is for the general public, not just the baseball junkies on OS. If you're new to the game it's nice to know this stuff. Also, you'd have to believe SCEA didn't tweak anything if you think it's just the same as last year.

I'm definitely liking the idea of dynamic fielding....it'll be nice knowing as a hitter that not every ball will be fielded perfectly...

I just dont play games enough anymore to justify owning a PS3. Sometimes I go weeks without playing. MLB The Show is about the only game I would want for it and thats just not enough.

Trust me ... it is. You would play the game all day every day. For the whole year until the new one is out.

Not only will the game support Online Season Leagues with fully functional drafts, Sony has also added flex scheduling so gamers can jump ahead and play games out of order depending on which opponents are online. Up to 30 teams can participate and the mode includes full stat tracking and customization down to number of teams and games in the schedule.

This is AWESOME news ... lets hope the lag is fixed and custom camera options, and it will be FANTASTIC!
