One place SCEA could showoff the wonderful stadiums in MLB The Show would be to extend the 7th inning stretch. Pan the stadium while Take me out to the ballgame song plays with the option to cut short by hitting x button.

Any plans on bringing RTTS mode online like EA has done with NHL and FIFA be a pro? with online leagues/games were the team players are controlled by humans that develop etc like in an MMORPG?

I saw it was asked if there areBall boys and Ball girls sitting on chairs in the outfield? What about a ball boy running out to get a foul ball behind the plate?

From a presentation perspective I just hate to see a foul ball just sitting at the backstop and then just disapear in thin air while the umpire hands the catcher a fresh ball.

Would be a nice touch added touch to go with Outfield ball boy/girls field foul ground balls.

I hope we can change the color of the players batting gloves and shoes, it would make the game so more personal. You would have a great looking game too. And shades would be cool. I was playing tonight and it would make the players really stand out if they all had different color gear.

Mode (Season/Franchise)

I was blown away by the real-time out of town scoreboards, and would like to know if they did anything to further immerse the user into what's happening around the league. Examples include:

• Score ticker option that allows you to see scores from your franchise (rather than real life)
• Between-inning graphic that shows scores from around the league (similar to how they show each teams' line score around the 6th inning)
• League-wide commentary (e.g., "The Red Sox come into tonight's game 2 back of the Yankees" or "Tomorrow night the Braves head out on the road for a three-game series with the Astros".

Just some ideas. If you see anything that fits within this realm, I'd love to hear about it.

Has diving catches by outfielders been improved any in MLB 09 The Show?

I feel that when you dive the outfielder seems to stop then dive. Its kind of hard to explain. But the point I am trying to make is I feel that the outfielders don't dive far enough and more times then not fall short of catching the ball.

So to sum this up I almost feel diving for a ball in the outfield is almost useless.

Stats(in Franchise mode)

Will the announcers say the same exact statistics/awards a player had in a specific season every following year? For example, if A-Rod was the runner-up to the MVP award this past year, will the announcers mention this ten years into the franchise as they do in '08?

Basically, will the announcers repeat same stats/feats by players every single year in Franchise mode?

sorry of this has already been asked, but wondering about playoff atmosphere and presentation.

I beat the Yankees in the world series with my RTTS guy last night, and after playing 3 full seasons with him and FINALLY getting there and beating the yankees in game SEVEN!!!.....there was a short animation of them jumping in a pile and carrying me off on their shoulders.

Man I would love to see more. Something to really drive home what just happened and allow the player to celebrate and take in all the glory. Also, from the presentation, graphics, fans and even announcing, you couldnt tell the difference between game 7 of the WS and just a tight game in the regular season.

sorry for the winded post....question would be, have they improved, enhanced, added to the Playoff and World Series feel?

I don't know if this has been covered but can someone find out if they actually have the pitchers hovering over the hitters now? Give the game more of an intimate feeling. It should feel different going against a Randy Johnson, ya know?

Probably won't happen with player models being the same...but you never know.

Too Lazy to read but the regenerated player demographic is white. Hardly any of them are white(looking in terms of mlb presentation) and there are far too many asian names.

I am not trying to be racist, just trying to reflect the current MLB %race demographic right now
