This is true. I will control a National League team also so i can play in all the stadiums. I usually put all the teams into a hat then draw one.

I don't think of that really. Yes, I play as the Rays and Mets. The only thing I thought about the other day was if during day games, the roof may cause a problem with a few high fly balls that a struggling outfielder may misjudge.

Its only one more year I guess for the Twins, and not sure about Tampas park.

I typically sim my Sox franchise games when I play either of those teams. I dont even mind the parks so much, its just that without natural sunlight from last year, and the new effects this year, they just looked too fake. (plus the sleeve issues)

How do you guys play your franchises for those teams? Do you deal with the parks okay?

Hopefully they at least improved the lighting in those parks to add depth and detail to the games.

In 09 with the progressive lighting I wont have to do this. From what I have seen from the Videos it looks like the nightgame lighting has improved (more shadow detail on the players) and I hope maybe this means that the dome lighting will be better this year.

And it is only one more season till us Twins fans get outdoors!
I hear its really bad in April and October weather-wise in Minnesota..as in snowfall. Is that true?

Oh yeah, should be interesting playing outdoors next spring and hopefully postseason.

Back to the subject.........both the Twins and Rays had outstanding home records last year. I know at the Metrodome, fly balls can be hard to pick up for the visiting team.

Yeah, same. I never really knew where to say that in a thread, but I wholeheartedly agree. They don't necessarily need the tarp movement with it (though it wouldn't hurt), but balls don't bounce off of that wall, they "slide" down it.

2K's stadium for Minnesota has been off since 2K2, and they've pretty much kept the same thing. I hope it's changed this time around, it didn't have any feeling of "massiveness" to it.

I haven't played in Minnesota in the MLB series. The only two SCEA games that I have owned in the past generation were '06 and '07 for PS2, and both times I did RTTS and basically stayed on National League teams. I don't know if it at least had a better feeling, but no game has done the wall physics correctly (which is somewhat understandable).

I play with the Twins in my Franchise. I think the Metrodome is one of the best stadiums on the game.

This game looks a lot better in the daytime. The graphics just dont look as good in the night games compared to the day games.

without a doubt. I play my seasons with Day Games only turned on. To me its a huge difference.

Problem is, from the videos we have seen so far, it seems like that same "waxy" or fake looking feel still exists with night games.

Should find out soon if the night games have been tweaked.

I don't mind playing in either of these stadiums and from using the Indians, I play a good bit at the Metrodome. I don't know if I'd want to play 81 games there, but it is some nice variety going indoors and for some reason, I like pitching at the Metrodome. The camera behind the pitcher just looks good there for some reason.

I dont mind the dome (as a Rays fan). We still have away games to check out the scenery.
