So after playing the demo last night I really liked the catcher showing the fingers. HOWEVER, I had a question for any of you guys who played the full game, does that catcher show you at all where he wants you to throw the ball or do you have to guess at that? Last night during the demo I didn't see him motioning at all where he wanted the ball thrown, I just had to throw it where I thought it would be good. I believe there's a feature where I can turn on the pitcher/catcher interface from last year but I don't want to do that since this new one is so good.

After he shows the fingers, he will motion to where he wants it. Left, right or down.

Ah ok thanks do you use your better judgement after that? Like will he motion for the corner or if he wants the high heat or something? Or is that something to expect for MLB 10?

Can you turn off the pitching cursor location graphic, yet still have the catcher do is thing? For a less game and more sim (IRL baseball) look?

Or does that location graphic have to be there?

They unfortunately do not motion for the highs. They motion for the lows, left and so forth... and if you were a real pitcher, you wouldn't know exactly where he meant anyway.

Absolutely. In options, go turn off the... umm... what's that setting called?

I was afraid the pitcher calling the game was tied into the API graphic. Glad he still calls it with that off!

Yes, fans and vendors walk around up and down stairs cross walks etc. When your home team stinks up the joint the stadium gets a little light!

Nemesis04 do you mean when your team is getting lit up, fans will start to leave during the game? If that is the case for me, the jake will be averaging close to 5000 per game just like in the 70's and 80's when the tribe sucked.

This game seems like its going to be something really special by all accounts here. And I have no doubt that it will be, because the 08 game was a great one. All I have to say is thanks, thanks, to all the members on the team that work long hard hours putting it together.

question for the guys. Why is there no hitting feedback if you turn off guess pitch?? I would still like the feedback even if I am not using that option.
