From where?...in the editor?...and to where?...just to host?

Good question if you mean from inside the editor.
You can take snapshots of the front end menus I think...so why not?
I think that's what they did for the top SS thread.

Here is why you will not see team logos in manual replays this year!

Basically, when you enter replay, we no longer have the stats or mug for the player that WAS batting. We also dont have a system in place to stream it in when you enter replay and then re-stream the data for the current player batting when you leave replay. So if we had the jumbotrons turned on, you'd have a mug and data for the next batter (or who was currently at bat if you were in replay vault)

The reason it works in auto replay is that we have not yet cleared that data out to stream in the next batter - so we can show it. The reason it worked last year is that we had player mugs resident in memory at all times.

Maybe they will get this to work right in MLB 2010 The Show

But I did not ask him if they would try and get it to work in 2010.

Shucks, that's too bad they look amazing and would be a nice touch in saved replays. Oh well, need to have something for a 2010 The Show wish list. :wink:

You will however see the LCD's with all the correct info on the automadic replays that the CPU does in 09.

Let me put it this way.

It has improved over 08 and here is why.

In 08 Automadic and user replays did have the scoreboard in replays but the info was not correct.

For example

In 08 lets say the score is 0-0 with 2 outs in the top of the first inning. With 1 hit for the phillies. And Ryan Howard hits a 2 run home run. Now when you go view the replay for Howards Home Run with Audomadic or user replay the scoreboard will show 2-0 2 Hits for Phillies which is wrong!

The scoreboard should read 0-0 with 1 hit for the Phillies! Because thats what it was when Howard hit the Home Run.

So in 09 the good news is you will now see the correct scoreboard in Automadic replays. Which is improved over 08. But now in 09 instead of seeing the incorrect scoreboard in user replays we will see team logos in its place.

I do have some hope that we will get the correct scoresboards in both Automadic and user replays in MLB 2010 The Show

But I have not been told if this is planned for 2010. I guess if it can be done then Sony will sure try I fix it.



But yes it kind of sucks now because you can save replays to the hard drive. So when you goback I watch the replays all you see is team logos on the scoreboards.

I am sure Sony will get this working correct if they can.

It's too bad the scoreboards won't show up in replays, but I'd much rather have them in the game and not work in replays than not have them in at all. Just one of those 'would be nice' things to have, but I'm not going to let this take away from a extremely great game. Like I said, we'll need some things for a 2010 wish list.

I haven't read through the last few pages of this thread, but is there a chance that, similar to the screenshot feature where you can get pictures of the game while in play, that we can do the same with video in the full version?

Yes you can save replays to the PS3 hard drive

And then upload them to the internet with a USB stick.

But can I do it for non-replays? Like in the game you can press the PS button and the game pauses and lets you take a screenshot.
