I was at the community event. I didn't pay that much attention to it even though I played some franchise games, although I know it's just like last year, you choose your team, press X, etc.

Now, if you're asking about the two controllers. Just think that two people were playing, choose the unis and when the game starts put controller 2 back to the middle (CPU). Works great.

hopefully i can choose for both teams with 1 controller. i don't see why that wouldn't happen. cuz i want it to be as realistic as it can be (ex. Braves/Reds Sunday alternates)

or in 2010. thanks but i don't have a PS2 nor a PS3. gettin one next year though. but i might get 09 for the PSP. wonder if the options are there?

Hey guys by any chance were they any questions asked in reference to Audio of the game. I ask because in 08 the Game Box states you can play the game in Dolby Digital, yet when I play 08 it's in LPCM.

I've tried changing my settings from both Bitstream & LPCM but that doesn't work. Not to mention the game volume is low..

You need a receiver or something to output dolby digital, of course. You can't set it to dolby on ur ps3 when you have nothing to output it. Also what I have noticed, is that I have to actually deselect dolby digital under the ps3 sound settings in order for my receiver to output it correctly...

Can anyone confirm if pitchers will now miss or drop the ball occasionally during the shovel transfer from the 1B when running to cover the bag ??

I thought it was unrealistic how they would always make every shovel transfer from the 1B flawlessly and I hope this year we will see them occasionally under & over throw the pitcher when there running to cover the bag like in real life

Anybody witness this or know if it's been added ???

Do any of the guys who have seen the game early know what the post game presentation will look like? I just saw a video of the 2k game's post game (the mariners v. athletics video) and it looked pretty good. they even had a "top 3 plays", kind of like the sports center top 10 theme.

Well, from what I saw I know that if you have a game, let's say is a slugfest and winds up 10-8, for example, you might get a dozen big play replays at the end of the game. Have a 1-0 score it might only be a couple. It's really well done.

Please tell me the following items have been corrected from the demo.

On a tag up play the outfielder when standing behind ball icon, slides into throwing arrows without moving his feet.

Outfielders do not show sense of urgency when there is a base hit with runners onbase. They tend to jog to the ball. Runners take extra base easily.

In franchise if you would say trade a player like Arod to another team a small market team. Would his huge salary be taken into consideration by the cpu? Thanks.
