To me it looked better. I am telling you guys the lighting does an amazing job to all the textures in the game. Especially reflective light. I did not notice the direction but it was doing different things and even laying flat at times.

Great so it may not be perfect yet but its great to hear Sony has been working on improving the flags!

I have you seen any Choppers, Blimps, Planes and birds flying by at random times.

Or even umpty bags and rappers blowing on the field during a windy game?

How does BATTING PRACTICE work?

Is it just for RTTS or can I do BATTING PRACTICE in Season mode?

I really do use RTTS much at all but was looking forward to BATTING PRACTICE.

Also can you tell us a little about the BATTING PRACTICE?

Any comment on the above?

Knight said he saw Ludicrous and Lil Wayne tumble across left field during one of his games, but those are the only rappers I've heard about. I'm guessing it doesn't happen often.

Two questions: Does the CPU IF/OF shift this year -- left, right, come in, play shallow, guard lines, etc? And I mean other than the extreme right 'Ortiz/Giambi' shift. Also, did they add new player ratings? I'm specifically wondering if pitchers' versus L and R pitch ratings are finally in the game? Thanks guys.

I'd like to know about the CPU fielding shifts as well. The only shifts in 08 seemed to be the extreme right "Ortiz/Giambi/Thome" infield shift. Outfielders seemed to be stuck in one spot regardless of the game situation or who was at bat. Is this any better in 09??

About the shifts....I saw guys moving around...but it could have been the movement you saw like in last years game. I was playing legend games so I had my attention elsewhere(that little teeny weeny white dot that you try and hit..and can't if you're me)..so sorry.

To add to what nem said about fielding and such. I can't tell you guys enough on how much more I saw. Pared had one hot shot to Delgado(so he must have been fielding) where the ball bounced up high...hit him in the chest and went on...at a good clip too.....into RF. It was nice.

Curtain calls....yep they are there and the player comes out and acknowledges! (I was told...I can't hit homers...)
