That's not a bug it's just like real life. You don't see left handed throwers play those positions.

how is this a bug? When have you seen a left-handed catcher, 2B, SS or 3B?

Am I understanding you correctly?

The problem with this is that when you try to switch someones second position, and they are left handed throwers, it will automatically change them their throwing hand to right handed(because when you scroll over C, 2b, SS, or 3b it automatically changes the throwing hand), even if you choose LF, CF, RF, or 1b.

Take Nick Swisher as an example. He throws left-handed. If his initial position in the game is 1B and you want to change his position to CF, you have to scroll through 2B, SS, 3B to get to CF. Scrolling through 2B, SS, 3B automatically changes his throwing hand to the right side because 2B, SS, 3B never throw left-handed. After getting to CF, you can't change his throwing hand back to left again. I don't know if this is a bug, but I really hope they fix this.

This is what I am also hoping for!

If we press hard on the buttom the throw should be as hard as the fielders skill allows. If we tap the buttom the throw should be a much slower throw.

But like I said the throwing system really needs to be based on the skills of each player. Because even when pressing hard on the buttom not every fielders should be able to throw a bullet to the infield.

I have a feeling this change will be added in MLB 2010 The Show

I always thought it was time based. Quick tap was "regular" throw, while holding longer ramped up the throw.

Then what's the point of a meter? In 08 both tap or hold threw the ball the same in the infield. I thought they would address that in 09.

What I love about the Show's crew is they don't just put something in to have it. They wait to make sure it is fantastic. I love that about this company. This Lighting is going to make the game sooo much better!!!!!!

I think the first I'll do with this game is go and add Enter Sandman to Mariano Rivera's profile. I'll probably then bring him into the game in the first inning just to go numb when I hear it!
