ok now i got confused....

1-he said they couldnt SHIP the game before march 1st ok? so that means theyll ship it out march 2nd since march 1st is a sunday, so would that mean no store would get them before march 2nd?(unlike previous years where some people got the game in the friday before release date)

2-Now if he actually meant that the game could not be sold before march 1st, meaning some stores would actually recive the game before release date but not be allowed to sell them, would that mean the game would be saleble march 2nd since thats obviously past march 1st(MLB rule date)?

3- did i make any sense?

MLB says they can't sell the game before March 1st. Sony chose to sell the game on the first Tuesday of the month, which is the 3rd.

Yes, Sony could've sold it on the 1st or 2nd, but chose the 3rd as their official street date/sell date.

i can understand that since 1st is a sunday, and 2nd would give them time to get most stores settle with the game for a march 3rd simultanious release. lol

Or, because it is normal policy to release all electronics (DVD's, Games, etc.) on a Tuesday.

Does this mean SONY won't ship games directly brought from the Sony Website until Mar 1st?

or is that the date they ship to all Distribution Warehouses thru-out the country for a Mar. 3rd release?

Street Dates & Dates game ship to distributors are 2 different things.
