Illinois people, I think you should keep calling meijer. I called a few and most said they have it.

The problem with that is this....they are checking the "inventory" via a computer...every single store in IL HAS it , the problem is they won't sell it.

I called the Rolling Meadows one yesterday, and went throught the exact same thing...when I drove over to buy it...no sale.

However, you never know...a few others did score from a Meijer..just depends on whom you deal with when you get there.

But one good thing happen during all this I feel I made a great gamer friend and Game Hunter in huggerorange73 and I cant wait till next years MLB the Show hunt.

Every A-Hole clerk I have talked to around Indy says they don't have it and try to give me a story about how they are always delayed getting new games. Which is BS because everybody on here is talking about the stores that I have been going to...I gave up last night, might try to snake it somewhere at midnight on Monday.

I checked every where.....Some of the bigger retailers that have violated street dates in the past didn't have it out. Tuesday it is...

In talking with a clerk from another big store, I was told they had it but were not allowed to put it out. I think the word has come down in regards to holding street dates....

Its amazing how many copies I have seen of MLB 2K9...But only once have I seen a copy of MLB 09 The Show (and it was the PSP version).

Doesn't MLB 2k9 have the same release date as The Show?

I am going to try the Meijer's in Downers Grove, Bolingbrook, and Plainfield in a couple hours. I will let all of the IL folks here know if I get it, though sounds like there's little chance of that.

Any mom and pops have it and selling it in Toronto? The major box storesd won't sell them because of the computer thing saying do not sell till march 3rd
