Has anyone else been able to hit L3 and actually get swing feedback? I have the option turned on, yet the button's giving me nothing.

      retail or demo?

in the demo (as well as last year's full game), feedback only worked if you had guess pitch on. Is that your problem?

Retail, but you make a good point. It's confusing though, because it gives me the option to turn the feedback feature on even though I have guess pitch turned off.

Kolbe confirmed that's a glitch. It does not turn back on even though the options let it. It's disabled with Guess Pitch off (Something that he seemed pretty adamant about rectifying for 2010).

I frickin' hate this game - Joba Chamberlain got injured in the second inning!

All jokes aside, this game is all sorts of awesome. They even have an ad for the History Channel series, "Ax Men", above the right-center-field bleachers in Yankee Stadium.

I love the way the AI mixes up its pitching sequence per inning (I'm on Legend Mode). During the first inning, Josh Beckett threw nothing but first-pitch fastballs; now in his second inning of work, he was yet to throw one to the first three batters.

Ooooh, Derek Jeter with his patented jump-man throw. They nailed the animation for that move.

He still is an AL MVP runner up, just because it wasn't last year doesn't mean it never happened.

I absolutely love the option to turn off the announcers and PA's voices during the game and just have music playing.

Join the club, lol. Last year I couldn't pull a ball to save my butt. At the event I was early just like you. It's definitely a relearn from 08...you'll get it. Slow the pitch speed down, all the way to the left and give it a try.
