Does the throw meter actually work in the retail version? It was just as innacurate and unpredictable in the 09 demo as the 08 retail was. No rhyme or reason.

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
see i cant play with all indicators on because i dont want to see a huge white ball tell me where the ball is going..
i like that you see a dark cloud like figure...makes it harder to pick up fly balls in clowdy games...
but the issue has nothing to do with indictors
the fact that the game states...manual fielding and is a lie because is all done for you...that pisses me off...i want to be able to control the fielder and make the catch...
i ran to the circle...actually i just walked to it since it was a lazy fly...
i then stood in the circle and noticed the ball was moving away and i tried to get out of the circle but it was like a vacuum
and my fielder is in the catch animation but the ball is rolling next to him...Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
it does nothing...i held it a long time until the meter filled and beltran threw a rope from center...then i tapped it with reyes and he threw a frozen rop to home plate...if it worked he should have thrown a floater....Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
Okay, so I got eight hours of this game under my belt, and it is damn phenomenal!
I really don't know where to start, I wish that I took notes on all of the little things that happened in my games! I also got a great kick out of all the things you can do with audio in this game (heckles, walkup music, etc). I played multiplayer with my friend like forever, and we just had a blast!
Honestly, I really don't know what to say haha. These impressions kind of suck, I expected to put like a crap load of things in here.Comment

RTTS, has some great menu screens off and def. also the ball has a flashing red circle around it to make it visible and easy to see. Here are a couple of pics RTTS my little character I was just messing around to see how the mode is. I am going to have fun with this mode.Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
Other than the extreme shifts for a handful of players, in MLB 08 the outfield/infield seemed to always play in the same location for the other 95% of the players.XBL Gamertag: hoos4974

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
One quick question I had was can you edit or RTTS player after you start the career this year? Not really worried about position but what about looks or walkup music or stance?Comment
