You're gonna get "slideritis", lol. If I was you I'd try LEVELS first to try to achieve your game play results you want, play a bunch of games without touching the sliders and THEN go from there. Have you paid real attention to the speed of the players this year. They seem to really reflect each player. Don't know why you'd want to mess with the global speed slider.

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
Yes they were completely torn out of the game and re-done Brain Ma spent a substantial amount of the time on the sliders. But if you don't play at least 30+ games before you start moving them around you might not notice the changes because you won't have a baseline to go off of.Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
I am so ready for the roster update to drop. Default Legend is my cup of tea and I'm absolutely enjoying myself on this level. I've got my timing down for hitting, have gotten used to the new meter, and am enjoying the challenge.
Please SCEA, drop the roster update today, we won't tell.
I know you like the game CB, but holy hell.
No? Ok, fail. I'm just bored because I have to wait one more day.Comment

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
actually i got REAL mad last night, i was in a tight 1-1 tie going into the 6th.
2 outs man on second.
3-2 count
and Keller rung me up on a Kazmir Slider that seriously had a sliver of the grey outline on the corner, it was well wide.
It was so funny how it went to the k zone or whatever and it was clearly wide.
I was like WOW... that S.O.B.#SimnationComment

Re: MLB 09: The Show - Impressions
I echo GSW's comments. Screw that ump.
1. He's inconsistent. He likes to call the inside pitch to lefties a strike even when the ball looks like it's going to hit their cup. Screw him.
2. There is no low ball strike with this man. You paint the low portion of the strike zone and he stands here. I wanted to assume that he wasn't paying attention or forgot the international sign for strike but nope, the man is just blind.

Keller is the demo ump, which you already know. So, I got "lucky" and had him for a retail version game.

I wanted to throw AT him.
Like i mean.. WTF you looking at man.
and it almost seemed as Navarro+Kazmir knew the way he was calling the game and were just trying to paint all game...
I think it was a conspiracy.#SimnationComment
